When my dialup is going fast, I can only get 26,400, so I'll look it up tomorrow. But the last Star Wars movie was the last movie I went to - obviously I'm anxiously awaiting this next one!
Thanx for letting us know, SMan!

For those that can't or haven't got a chance to see it, it's mostly a lot of rehashed footage from the first few movies. Then you get a few glimpses of Anakin looking really evil and you hear the emperor saying something like "rise, Lord Vader". There' also some space fight battle scenes mixed in and a few scenes from what looks like a wookie planet.
Only 7 months to go...woohoo!

Yep. Geeks, for sure.
I once stood out in the rain at Leitersburg Cinemas to see one of those movies. Forget which one. I think it was the one that showed the little boy with the Vader shadow in the sand. Did it for a guy.
I'm just as bad with horror movies, so who am I to talk?

Just so I know who to laugh at. How many of you will be standing outside the theater 3 days before the movie opens with your chewy and darth vader costumes on waiting for tix. I want to know who to throw the water balloons at

Sman- obviously in his chewy costume ready to pass out from the heat
Rom- Darth Vader mask with a Michigan T and jean shorts
Heather- cinnamon bun princess leah hairdo and some hot princess costume
And last but not least. BMIC- Jabba the hut sitting in his lawn chair holding his first spot in the line

I won't be in costume, and I won't be standing outside on opening day (I wouldn't even do that for my favorite movie the Wizard of Oz), but I'll be there to see it!

I'll go a few days ahead of time and buy my tickets. Then I'll be in line a few hours before midnight. When the last one opened tickets weren't sold the night of the show, so they knew how many people to expect. They played it on as many screens as necessary (4 or 5 I think) to meet the demand.
Thanks for reminding me, Samy! I have to get my wookie costume to the cleaners.

I'll probably rent it eventually, but I'm no fan. I think it's cute though how all the men get all worked up about it like they are little boys again.

Here's one for you:
""The Force" Not With Seattle Star Wars Fan
Early birds beware. Next time you decide to save money or time waiting in a Seattle, Washington line just know you could end up losing both.
A die-hard Star Wars fan learned this the hard way. He and his blue sofa have been waiting outside the downtown Cinerama for the release of the new Star Wars movie coming out in May. But he just got kicked off the street because of a longstanding law against anyone sitting or lying on Seattle streets."

Funny story.....
At my wedding, I started to play the "Imperial march" when my wife walked down the aisle. Everyone got a laugh, then I had my brother switch it over to the bridal march ASAP!

Oh, B, if only you knew.....
As I've told y'all before, all of my dogs have been miniature poodles or poodle crosses because of my allergies. The one I lost last year, and the new one are both apricot colored.
The first time my son saw the old dog, he thought it was that thing that Jabba had on the chain (or did he eat it, I can't remember), and tormented the dog. Well the new dog looks very much like the old dog, just a little bit bigger and younger. My son can't figure out how I got a dog that looks just like the old one, but he still wants to feed it to Jabba!

Rom, you must have a gem of a wife - I'm not sure if I would have laughed if my hubby had played the Imperial March.
