If any of you like theater, I would recommend seeing "Gold Dust Memories" this weekend at the Capitol Theater. It's done by Chambersburg Community Theater, so don't expect Broadway, but it's still a really good revue of favorite scenes and songs from shows they've done over the last 50 years. Adult tix are $13, seniors $11, and kids $9. Show times are 8pm Friday and Saturday, Nov 12 and 13.
Christmas Parade will be November 20th at 6:30pm. Hope it's decent weather. We went last year, and it was pleasant. However, we did have to buy some hot chocolte. THis year I will bring a thermos of my own!!!
"A Christmas Carol" will be at Cap Theater, too, for 12 performances. Planning on taking my daughter since she hasn't seen it before. Done the Nutcracker too many times!
Prepare for the IceFest.....Jan. 27-30th, 2005! See the ice sculptors at their craft with chainsaws and blow torches! Go to the Chili Cook-Off (admission is only $2) and warm up for a good cause.
