Did anybody see the Orange Bowl half time show? Apparently Ashlee Simpson "sang" and it was pretty bad, according to MSNBC. Michael Ventre said it "sounded like a cross between a political prisoner being tortured and a test of the emergency broadcast system."

I didn't catch the show myself. Any music critics out there?

I didn't catch the show, but the review sounded pretty funny. Her SNL lip-synch fiasco was funny, too.

She's another of the transparent, phony "celebrities/performers" out there that I personally could care less about. So many of these people are mostly famous for being famous, or they're above-average looks, and not much else. JMO.

I saw it and it was pretty bad. I'm not a fan of comtemporary music, but she was the worst of the three acts. I had no idea what she was screeching. She received a lusty chorus of boos before her performance and a stronger chorus after. Kelly Clarkson wasn't much better. I had seen her perform the National Anthem, I believe it was before one of the world series games, and she was fantastic. She can really sing, but she keeps performing that pop pap. Trace Adkins wasn't any better, seems like the whole group was pandering to the teeny-boppers.

I really don't care for her music in the first place either, but that review really caught my attention! Said she would've been better off showing a boob!

Trace Adkins didn't show off anything did he? Hope I didn't miss anything - his singing is OK, but he sure is nice to look at!

I'm actually a big fan of 7th Heaven, it's one of very few decent "family" shows.
