Sorry Steelers fans, Big Ben showed he was a rookie yesterday. He basically gave the game to an inept Jets team, who couldn't seal the deal because their kicker choked twice. I'm now convinced that either of his possible opponents (Pats/Colts) will be able to put up too many points for Roethlisberger to match next week in the AFC championship game.
The Falcons looked very impressive last night. I would love to have seen a Falcons/Eagles (with T.O.) matchup in the NFC champ. game. Without T.O., they'll always be that "what if" factor.
My Super Bowl prediction, and I'm always wrong BTW, is Pats vs. Falcons.

So the Steelers played like poop. Every team has an off game now and then.
I still stand firm with my prediction Steelers-Eagles Super Bowl.

Eagles looked impressive even without T.O.....Falcons looked the best I've seen them all year. Pats once again have Mannings number. 3 points out of the Indy offense? Unbelieveable! Steelers looked very beatable and the Pats won't give the game away like the Jets did....I think we've got a Philly vs. Pats Superbowl coming up and make it 3 out of 4 for the Pats!

You may be right, but I'm getting tired of the Pats. It'd be nice to see the Steelers get into the 'bowl.

Did I see the time (6:30 p.m) correctly for the AFC championship game? That's different. I've loved the Saturday night prime time games, but I don't know about this early evening stuff. I guess they're going for ratings.

Anything for the $$$$$$$. Why else would I have to watch 36 Cialis commercials

I agree!

E-A-G-L-E-S!!! I hope they'll go all the way this year - they always blow it in the playoffs, but I think they look good. Although, I have no idea how the Eagles will match up against the falcons, but according to you guys, it will be a good game. Looking forward to it!
IMO, I think it would be awesome to see the Eagles and Steelers in the superbowl. I'm tired of the Pats.

Falcons vs. Patriots... Patriots win again and we have to deal with Tom Brady's face for yet another year.

What's wrong with Brady's face? He's a handsome, young man.

I guess I'll take what's left.
Steelers vs. Falcons
I'm just happy the Colts lost or this might have been the first superbowl that I didn't watch. I haven't watched a "Colts" game since the 1983 season, and I never will, I don't care how many touchdown passes Peyton Manning throws. I'm a Ravens fan (in the AFC) and even though they needed the Colts to win the last game in order to get into the playoffs, I was rooting for Denver.
My choice of the 4 would have to be the Falcons, but I'd be happy with "anybody but the Eagles".

Brady's HOT but I know a lot of people in this area that will be real happy to see the Steelers get in to the Super Bowl!

Looks like the Philly/ATL game is going to be cold, windy, and some measurable snow (they won't commit to a total yet).
Initially, I thought this was doom for the Falcons since they're a "dome" team, but I forgot that they have the top rushing offense in the league and Philly tries to pass/run on a 3 to 1 ratio. Looks like four championship losses in a row for Philly! Woo hoo! We have our Buffalo Bills for the new century!

What do you do with Andy Reid if they lose? Yeah great he gets them to the divisional championship every year but can never take the last step. I think he's a good coach but when do they think of making a move?

At this point I'm just hoping the Falcons can get to the 4th quarter down no more than 10. How many 8 yard punts have they had?

I'm halfway to being wrong (again) with a major football pick. I think for my Super Bowl pick, I'm going to pull a George Costanza and go against my instincts because they're always wrong.

Oh well. Both the teams I was rooting for lost. Steelers looked so much better in the 2nd half, maybe they'd have had a chance if they'd played that well the whole game. But they didn't. The Super Bowl is pretty much a bygone conclusion at this point. I'm getting tired of watching New England win.

I wanted to see the Steelers win -- they have been my second favorite team ever since the 70's when they kicked Dallas tail. Now I'm left to root for the Pat's. I can't stand Philly -- their fans (at least the ones in the stadium) are about the most obnoxious in all of sports and I don't like the city and the way it is basically run by union thugs. Go Pat's!!!

They also beat up the Chief, the Redskins mascot. I think he was about 65 years old at the time.

They play dirty ball, and the fans beat the hell out of visiting fans and their property. Why do you think Redskins fans call it Filthy-delphia? I'll be wearing my worn out Redskins sweatshirt and rooting for the Patriots!
