Is there any other military spouces out there going crazy? My husband has been gone this deployment now for 139 days...and yet his orders call for 730 still awhile to go.... His unit was deployed after Sept 11th and was away from home for a year...when he got home he was home for only four months, then the orders came rolling in again and off he went. I am proud of my soldier...very proud but I miss him!! These back to back deployments of the National Guard are very hard on the soldiers and their families....
I am an Army brat...both my mother and father served our country and it was always a joke in our house that if the Army wanted you to have a family, they would issue you one...untill now, I have never truely understood the meaning of that.

Missing first I want to say "Thank You" to your Soldier. I'm sure this will end with in the next year or so but dont fret, he is in the company of other professionals and you will see him soon. I too come from a military family and I know how hard it is to have a loved one away for so long. But, that person is never too far away if you keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Best wishes to your Soldier and may god bring him home to you soon. Keep your chin up
