How do you think that the police are going to be able to keep track of MS-13 when they are more busy being puppets (I'm not putting the police down for doing what they are told to do as servants for the bureaucratic government we now live in), who are now servants making revenue for the (local jurisdictions- not public) to ticket us common folks for less violent issues. There's toooooo much money involved in fines to be more concerned about the really ugly things that go on around us.
Don't they see......crime is not getting any better......it just keeps getting worse....whose to blame here

!
Do you suggest that traffic tickets no longer be issued? Something tells me the next post would be demanding to know why the lazy police weren't catching the speeders/red light runners/non-turn signal users/drag racers/etc.
Only a small fraction of the "common folk's" ticket revenues go back to the local jurisdiction. Nearly all goes into the state's coffers. Look into it if you don't believe me. The big exception to this is when municipalities install those money making machines known as red light cameras.
Just because the only cops you see are the ones writing minor traffic tickets, doesn't mean they're the only cops performing any police functions. If you only knew how much work was being put into fighting drugs (for which I'd support some decriminalization), violence, and even gangs in this area and how bad off this area would be if they didn't.
And yes, I'm very sympathetic to
most (not all) police issues.
