Did anyone watch the pilot of "The Office" last night. It was billed as a great new comedy on NBC. I watched 15 minutes and thought it was awful and changed the channel.

Another forum I follow, had the basic opinion that it sux. I didn't watch it, myself.

I watched it and thought it was really funny, but it's based on the movie "Office Space" and there are a lot of similarities with that movie. So if you liked "Office Space", I recommend it.

It thought it was based on a British tv show with a similar title?

HHhhmm, I dunno - Maybe you're right Sman, but there's quite a resemblence to "office space".

I loved Office Space, but HATED this show. It was awful, after fifteen minutes I immediatly turned the channel. I too, however, thought it was based on the BBC's The Office. It seems like NBC is trying to duplicate some of their shows, with Coupling that canceled after a week.
