I've been watching from the begining and skipping the reruns(which there are alot of it seems).
It's not too bad of a show so far. I keep wondering what will come up next.

Any ideas as to what is going on ,on the island? Like I think that a circus boat or plane crashed/wrecked first. Then I'm thinking that maybe it's all some kind of experiments by some country. Can't figure this one out.

And what's with the dome?! Although the light came on at last.

I like the stories about the survivors.Although some of the "flashing back" gets a tad boring,but I guess it's to help explain things.
Hopefully next week won't be a rerun and I can see what Said is gonna do with that gun and Locke.

I missed the boat on this one. I'll catch the DVD release when it comes out in September.

I love the show. I missed alot of the first episodes due to my job, but fortunately I have downloaded the episodes I have missed and watch them when I get a chance. Here are a few theories floating around regarding lost.

1. The Purgatory/Limbo Theory - all characters are dead (or Lost Souls, if you allow, snort) and in between life/death in a state of Limbo, awaiting the accomplishment of some event/realization before 'passing on'.

2. The Government Experiment Theory - the government has purposely placed these select people on an island for observation of human behavior in light of a stranded-on-island-situation.

3. The Matrix Theory - All survivors are plugged into a Matrix-like world (the island) in which they interact under the assumption they are acting in present time when they could actually be plugged into a simulation aboard a spaceship and it's really the year 2256.

4. The Atlantis Theory - The survivors are on the Lost City of Atlantis.

5. The Hollow Earth Theory - The survivors have crashed just inside one of the entrances to the Hollow Earth, as described in Jules Verne's novel, "Journey to the Center of the Earth".

6. The Groundhog Day Theory - The suvivors have crashed and landed in a loop of time that will repeat itself until something (unknown) is done "right" or "correctly", thereby disrupting the loop and sending them back to un-looping time.

7. The Boy Controls Everything Theory - The only child on the island (so far), Walt, controls the goings-on of the island by his thoughts and wishes, a la Anthony from "Twilight Zone: The Movie".

8. The Face Your Worst Fears Theory - The monster and other ill encounters are inspired by the specific fears of the character that is encountering it [them].

9. The Dr. Moreau Theory - Like the plot of the H.G. Wells novel, "The Island of Dr. Moreau", there is an "evil" scientist/person/doctor on the island turning people into animals, experimentations on humans, et al.

I never even thought of some of those things!
#1 seems silly due to the dome in my opinion. What would an "all knowing" being need with a dome?(jmo)
#2 I've thought about cuz of the dome
#3 seems like some people are alittle too "plugged in " to the whole Matrix thing
#4,5,6 I've never thought of
#7 sounds like a good posibility,although he sure does have a real good imagination!
#8 seems alittle childish to me..theres monsters in the dark kind of thing(jmo)
And #9 seems to fall into the #2 zone.

All I gotta say is that so far the writing has been really good and some what original(which in this day and age of remakes is saying something) and for once theres a program that actually holds my attention. YAY!!!!

Yeah it's nice to have a show on ABC that doesn't stink.

I don't mind the reruns. It's letting me catch up on some of the things I missed before.

Last episode did you hear the radio transmission Boone got on the radio when he said "Hello? We're the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815!" ? The voice responded "No, we're the surviors of Oceanic Flight 815!" wierd huh???

Wow i didn't catch that. Eerie! The previews also show what appears to be Sayeed shooting Locke. I can't wait to see it

I couldn't understand the transmission myself,but *amn! Hmmm.....now theres all kinds of crap going round in my head as to what THAT could mean!

Appears- is the operative word here. You notice that they don't show who does do the shooting.I'm thinking that it's the spoiled little skank(i don't even remember her name ). I mean she actually put Said up to hunting Locke to begin with!

Let's just hope that Charlie doesn't find out whats in the other plane. (but also isn't it convenient that it's full of dope?)

Hubby actually stayed up to watch it with me and the whole hour he's going: who's that? why'd they do that?

So is next week the final one for the season? I mean it seems that theres no definate "Fall Season" anymore. Not like there used to be.

WVD Boones sister asks Sayid to go after Locke, but somehow she is the one who tries to shoot Locke.

Also remember that the tail end of the plane broke off with people on board and the colored woman keeps saying she knows her husband is still alive.

3 more episodes left. Season finally is in 2 parts. Getting exciting.

I completely forgot about the tail section! But how'd they get a radio?(did they find a drug plane too ?) O! maybe it's "the others" that the french woman was talking about.

Hubby saw that guy get sucked into the engine that was still going when they first crashed and just rolled!!

I think it's funny as crap that nobody beleives that Hurley is a muti-millionaire! Hubby didn't at first either.

Man! If it ends on something really good I'm gonna scream!

I think the boy might have something to do with the whole thing. Did you see in the previews where he tells Locke not to open the hatch?
