Has anyone played Star Wars Galaxies yet for the PC? I'm interested in buying it, but, I dont want to get it if the online community for the game is small. If someone does have the game how would you rate it on a scale of 1- being very lame, to , 10- being outstanding.

I have not played this game. Though a few of my friends have played it. It is sweet fro what I've seen and quite a good looking game.

The community is the fastest growing MPOL game ever. It will soon eclipse The Sims in a matter of weeks.

But let me get this straight....you are going to buy a game for 50 bucks AND pay a 10 dollar a month fee for it? I can't stand MPOL games that make you pay per month.

Avo, I feel the same when it comes to shelling out 10 buck more a month just to play a game. That is why I was asking if the community is small or not, because I dont want to shell out cash on a lame game. If I'm not mistaken I think the fee is 14.95 a month! ..... Little steep for me but I'm really itching to play this game. The first month is free with a purchase so 30 days should be enough for me to decide if I'm willing to shell over some moolah... I could take back some games to Electronics Boutique for credit towards SWG .

Played this game for a little over a week now and I have to say I am hooked!!! The learning curve is a bit steep but after 2 hours or so you get the hang of it. One problem though make sure you character is on a stable server. The server I use (bloodfin) is horrid, but my built up character is on that one and I dont want to start over!!!! Its free subscription for the first month and 14.95 each additional (yikes)! So give it a go folks and look me up online at Bloodfin , my name in game is Aflak, yes like the insurance place.
