Since I've snootily disparaged idol fans here in the past, I thought that tonight I should come clean and admit that I have watched the show.

I watched it tonight with my son and his friends and I have to admit it was a pretty good show. Before tonight I had only watched it 2 or 3 times, and they were shows that were early on in the competition where you can have a few performers that really suck. After they've been eliminated I lose interest.

I have to admit that it's not a bad show though. The long-haired guy who sang Stand By Me and the Los Lonely Boys song would get my vote, but that's probably because of his song selection more than anything else. I thought they were all pretty good actually. Even the girl that Simon ragged on I thought was excellent.

There, I've admitted it, I'm out of the closet.

I hope people continue to vote for that terribly bad Scott Savol. Then this ridiculous show will get what it deserves.

I used to be a fan, but the last time I seriously watched it was the year it was a Reuben/Clay battle.

I'll admit...I've thought of starting an American Idol thread, but I was afraid of being run off the board!

This is the first year I've been truly hooked on it, only because the talent seems to be so much better...and the hott long haired guys rockin' And I hate that Scott wasn't voted off last week. Constantine didn't sing that great but he's so damn cute he should've stayed on...he had a heckuva lot more personality and talent than Savol.

I'm upset tonight because I had to work, so I'll have to find out on the net or the news to see how everyone did. Yes, I do have a life!

American Idol looks like it'll be taking a hit tomorrow night on 20/20.
They say that Paula and a contestant were doing the nasty and she was helping him. Of course then they found out this guy had a felony record for assault that he forgot to disclose so they booted him out. I'm guessing this is some kind of lame attempt to cah in on his part. Should be interesting though.

If Ryan Seacrest calls that fat Savol slob "scotty the body" once more I will reach through my TV and strangle him!!!!
