Long story short,
our family is in need of a pet.
A young , small puppy, or no more than a
year old.
Not a large breed dog, due to size of yard.
Anyone looking for a good home for a pet
then please contact me.
thanks

I went on line to the humane society
and the pets listed are gone already adopted.
they said they are about a month behind
on posting on their web site.

Pay the Humane Society a visit I'm sure they have something to fit your need.

Thanks I certainly will....when I went on line, the
pets posted were already adopted.
But a visit is indeed in the works.

Don't forget: there are animal shelters in Waynesboro, Chambersburg, Martinsburg, Frederick, etc. Plenty around in case you want to expand your options.

Also check the classifieds. I often see free puppies/young dogs.

Keep in mind the vet costs associated with keeping a pet -- especially an indoor pet. It ain't cheap, but some critters are cheaper than others. Call and ask a vet, and they often have listings of free pets posted by their customers. The vet in Funkstown often has pets on premesis up for adoption.

Thanks for all the assistance,
just got a mutt, for free off the classifieds,
and we have a budget just for our new member
to keep this member healthy, already lined up
with the Cumberland vet hospital I think on VA avenue,
since I am still relatively new, I still tend to
get lost.
one day, I won't be able to say that excuse
'about being new to the area'.
looking forward to that part of my life!!

I don't think she can SMan, she's not a moderator yet.
She can post it on the alternate site if she has a hotmail acct.

It used to be you could spay at 6 months. I believe they've changed that to earlier now. I've had all my dogs spayed.

cute lil' pup ya got there Paris!
What did ya name her?
paris47
Jun 9 2005, 07:03 AM
Her name is Tia,
T- for Tibet, where I always wanted to visit, as a child I read about Tibet in
National geographic, they said you never hear a baby cry because their needs
are met before they get a chance to cry.
I think as a child I may have misunderstood that article, but I was always
facinated by the thought of Tibet, also that they have signs like we do..
'deer crossing'....Tibet has signs that say 'UFO crossing"
IA is for the first two letters of my son's name (Ian)
my daugther name Lisa- remove the l & s and you have 'IA'
my other daughters middle name is Lia...therefore lots of "IA"
TIA--
bet you didn't expect such an answer.....
