However, did anyone notice the T&A? I mean... those avatars were so NOT G-rated. In fact, some of them show actual boobies and butt! I mean... sketches of boobies and butt, but I swear... whole butts... whole boobies. How bizarre. Not family-friendly at all. But very Greedy-friendly. LOL

I registered and after browsing through the mile long list of avatars I finally found one that wouldn't give me bad dreams After selecting it and saving it I got an error message that "I did not have permission to edit this user's info"! I give up! I prefer the set-up we have here, much easier to navigate!

It's too bad we've already exhausted the memories of Hagerstown on a thread in here. Everyone really got into it. We listed and described things about old Hagerstown for awhile. If we had had that thread on your place, might have given you a boost.

Ladies seriously, I understand there are certain parts of a woman's body that need to be shaved but leave your eyebrows alone!! That whole "look", the brows shaved & then drawn on with eyeliner, it's just not attractive! It's almost as bad as when women outline their lips with lip liner and then don't fill in with lipstick

wow, they've got a major case of censorship going on over there! I made a response to joey's post about how well the website looked. i said something, i forget exactly what, but it was just mildly critical. now my comment is gone.

so, if you say anything critical about the website, anything at all, don't expect it to be there very long.

they keep that up, they won't have much of a poster population.

If that is their 'tude then I won't even bother to visit. Only idiots would run a website like that.

I was going to head over there, but if censorship is taking place, i wont bother.

They're owned by NBC. Doesn't surprise me. I doubt I could post a single thing over there that those flaming liberals wouldn't censor.

I'll try to simplify this for you. To post here you had to create a login/screen name. When you created said login there was what we call a DISCLAIMER. This DISCLAIMER had a check box under it that you had to manually check saying that you read the DISCLAIMER.

The disclaimer CLEARLY state that any posts are at the sole discretion of the station. This is not publc property. Free Speech doesn't apply here.

Yes, I realize this is NBC25's sandbox and that they can create any rules that that want. They can ban posters, they can remove posts, they can do whatever the heck they please here.

I was under the impression that this forum was created for the free exchange of information. Of course barring any obscene, libelous, inciteful or any other posts that would be deemed not in the best interest of the community.

However, capricious deleting of posts will not facilitate the free exchange of opinions or information. A carefully thought out post takes the valuable time of the poster, and to have it carelessly deleted does nothing for your site's reputation.

Your news competitor has a very nice website and we freely exchange info over there. Sometimes the discussions get heated, sometimes they are just fun. But folks are drawn to that website, and perhaps drawn to clicking on the advertisers.

Run your website and your community forum however you wish. But continued deletion of posts, will not draw people to your site.
