I sometimes read the morning paper on-line, and I saw this headline as the third story this morning:



It usually happens that way, doesn't it? Very few pedestrians are killed by stationary vehicles.

Wonder if there was a driver or if the vehicle was like "Christine" and drove itself?

How about this in today's paper:

Arlington accepts killers ashes

Seems to be that if the military/government is going to go through having soldiers carry the ashes, a bugler playing taps, a three gun salute, and flag service - why would they not do a quick criminal records check? Surely they have computers....

I am annoyed that there are reports of veterans families who cannot get a bugler to play taps and the military is sometimes sending a recording, but this guy gets full honors?

GRRRRR......

At least he won't be buried next to my mom's and dad's ashes out there.
