The newspaper question of the day is, "Should the remains of Russell Wagner, a man convicted of murdering two Hagerstown residents, be removed from Arlington National Cemetery? Some folks might not see it there.

More broadly, should any murderer or even a serious felon be buried at Arlington just because they are a vet?

My vote is no, murderers and serious felons should be kept out.

Thanks, TB, I never saw it there.

Since there were only 2 posts, and that thread name doesn't tend to describe the specifics of this topic, I think I'll leave this thread.

Duplicate post. Good Moderating, that! rolleyes.gif

I think you'll find that not many people care about the subject, no matter WHO posts it nor how many times they repeat it. dry.gif

I've offered the mod job if you want it, Mr. Perfect, so you could show us all how it's done. But like some others you seem to prefer just running your yap and criticizing mods instead of helping out. Typical of your holier-than-thou type, I suppose. Do you want to get into nitpicking -- is that your game? In your post, the word moderating should not be capitalized. Oooohh, wow, I guess that makes me a Big Man, too, pointing out minutiae. rolleyes.gif

But of course! I haven't the time nor the inclination to be a moderator. But you've got that great big bullseye painted on your profile, so when you do dumb things like defending duplicate posts, I can't help but attack!

Unless he died of anthrax poisoning or in a plane crash I'll give George the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Quit lurking and say something SMan.

You're creeping me out with that sig. I went to danasoft.com and started the sign-up but changed my mind at the last minute.

If the CNN website is accurate and Wagner's sentence doesn't meet the requirements to exclude him, there's no issue.

Sure, I think it blows, but it doesn't look like any rules were broken and they're certainly not going to dig up his remains.
