I was serious. If I were a City taxpayer I would be furious with Kid for wasting so much time on these forums. If public officials are going to come here, it should be by special invitation to address a specific issue in a pre-announced public chat format.

Though if they wanted to sacrifice some of their personal and family time to drop by in the evening, I guess that would be okay.

I don't keep tabs on when they punch the clock but lets be serious. if we could get any of them here it would be a small miracle. why bust their ba**s on the time?

If you've ever taken notice, I believe most of Kid's postings are in the evening, when he's on his personal time. I don't see him on this forum much during the day.

BMIC posts mostly from work, on his company's time. And his company gets US government research grants, that come from everyone's tax dollars.

I've dropped some tidbits about me that someone could use to research me on the internet and then reveal certain aspects of my life. I wouldn't like it.

A: I haven't seen anything listed that the poster hasn't divulged themselves or that wasn't easily guessed based on what the poster has said.

B: Seems like only people who throw stones at others around here need start to worry about their own glass house.

It wouldn't surprise me if he had sneaked by my church sometime during a youth group meeting just to check out the crowd and see if he could pick me and my children out. *shiver* He certainly is saying that he knows what kind of body art the kids who go there are displaying.

I can just imagine this guy hunched over his computer filling out a dossier on every one of us regulars.... and I'm not so sure this is a safe place for any of us anymore.

Webbie I'm sorry to have to say this, but I hope you have his honest personal infrmation on file in case it's needed to investigate any crimes committed against myself or my children. At this point he has just made himself a prime suspect should anything happen to any of us.

LOOK, this guy hasclearly been by my church and scoped out the teenagers during their youth group meetings. Yoss wouldn't make such a statement as boldly as he did otherwise.

The only other way I can think he would say what he did so boldly is if he sought out some of the other members of the church somehow and noted that their teenaged kids have tattoos. If so, they're not any that I know very well, because I don't know of any of them that have tats, but it's a great big mega-church and lots of kids drop in and I'm sure some of the kids on the fringe do.

Either way I am wondering how many times this guy has driven down my street checking out my car and house and children. I seriously suspect this guy knows who I am and where I live and that he has checked me out before.

B - I think Yoss was just making the following safe assumptions:

1) You belong to a church
2) Your church has a youth group
3) Teenagers in the youth group may have tattoos/piercings

I think those are just common knowledge guesses. I don't think Yoss has opened a profile on you. Just my opinion.

As you say PHISH, BMIC has in the past, stated how active he was in his church. Churches that I have attended have very active youth groups and outreach programs. Most youth pastors are pretty hip and have good relationships with their youths. I just thought that might be a good place for B to get the answer he so vehemently sought.

Folks this is just B acting nuts, trying to get attention, trying to get sympathy, and trying to make Yoss look bad. He has no such fears, he knows Yoss hasn't been to his church, or by his house, or any of that crap. It's all BS.

Heather -- from what I see only people who make threats have ever been threatened on here, except maybe B who started the darn threats himself way back. This guy has insulted more people, more times, more crudely, than anyone else here by a longshot. He's threatened people. He spews nastiness almost daily. So he'd better at least be able to take some of it when it's fed back to him in the same (or usually lesser) manner w/o whining like a scared rabbit.

I know who he is and how he acts. He works all of you into a fit of rage and then you all start poking and prodding him. Before you know it, the entire board is flooded with crap and useless mud slinging.

Actually, I was talking to a friend about it, and I was thinking of getting a Protective (restraining) Order against Yossarian. I'd have to get the Judge to subpoena his identity from the Herald-Mail, but if he spooks me any more, I'll do it in a heartbeat. I will not be bullied into silence, neither will I allow this guy to continue to issue veiled threats against me and my family.

B - You have gone off the deep end!

I haven't seen anything posted by Yoss that I would interpret as threats or stalking. I believe that B would have a difficult time convincing a judge that he needs a protective order, IMO.

And judging how successful protective orders seem to be (at least orders against abusive husbands), if Yoss were a danger to him, it's not likely the order would be of much good IF he got one.

B, come on now! Be somewhat realistic. You are waaay out in left field on this one. Granted I have not been on the boards as long as Yoss and yourself, but I think you are blowing this way out of proportion. Any judge in there right mind is going to laugh at you and should throw you in jail for wasting their time. Yoss has said nothing that would even make me think he is out to get you. Stop being paranoid and lets try to get the forums back on track. Forget the past and get the chip off your shoulder!
