If you've been to Tony's Pizza on Rt. 11 in Hagerstown lately, and you paid with a credit card, you might wanna check your statement. A friend of mine was double billed for a meal recently and called Tony's to complain. They said they have been having this problem a lot with their billing company, sometimes even triple-billing credit cards, but they don't know it until someone complains.

As Webbie would say...fair warning.

Famous Daves (BBQ) in Frederick was having the same issues about 6 months ago. They always blame it on the credit card processing companies, but I think crooked employees could have something to do with it.

How would an employee benefit from double billing? Making $6 an hour... i doubt a waiter/server would reap the benefits of double billing.

I had an incident (not as the victim), where an unscrupulous waiter was changing tip amounts on credit card meal receipts at a restaurant.
