What a crock of ???? Did anyone read all the nominees and the winners of the readers choice awards? who even choose's the people that go in the paper. There were alot better people to nominate and definetely win then some of the people that were in that article. I think it's a worthless waste of paper and next year should really just not even be printed!!!!

Mom,
Why not post what your little one wrote and the literary gurus here will check it out and compare it to the winners.

Are these the awards for things like "Best Steakhouse", "Best Auto Repair", etc.?
My mom's store won one of these last year and she was proud. I don't know how she did this year.

Oh, THOSE readers choice awards!

My goof. Wasn't that printed a month or more ago?
It's probably a moneymaker for the paper more than anything. Some of the choices were obviously skewed a bit by vocal supporters of certain establishments. I wouldn't put a whole lotta stock in them.

Someone called into Mail Call and said that the ballot boxes were stuffed because the Shamrock Inn won!
I can't even remember where the Shamrock is. Rt.40? towards Clearspring, right?

Yeah, I think Shamrock won for Best Gas Station, too.
Apparently they have a very vocal crowd of supporters.
Obviously, it is not a scientific poll...

Home page of herald-mail.com, left side of page, button that says reader's choice click here, right above the freedom of information button. I clicked on it and it appears to be an adobe acrobat file, but it didn't fully load in my browser, either it's a huge file or a bad link.
btw, reader's choice? ha! It was just about useless identifying the top businesses. Looked like lots of ballot stuffing.
