I just saw the first preview last night during the game. I had no idea it was coming out so soon.....10/21 I believe. I'd like to see it, but there's no way the wife's gonna want to see it, so I guess I'll be waiting for the dvd.
Aside from Resident Evil, which was OK, I can't think of any video game turned movie that has been any good. It certainly looks cool though. The monsters look just like the game. And playing that game with the lights turned down actually was a little scary, so there may be hope for it. Plus, it has The Rock!
They've also announced a movie based on the game, Halo. I'm hoping that turns out well.
