I thought I'd start this thread so things could be posted here for upcoming events.

This weekend here in Hedgesville theres a few things going on that I thought you all would like to know about.

1) Community Yard sale at James Rumsey Tech College.
Rt.9 west in hedg. 8-4(i think)

2) Hedgesville Heritage days
in and around the square of Hedg.(don't blink ) on Rt.9 W

3) Norman Dillard farm Museum will be open and giving demos of old time farm equipment(some are pretty cool).Rt.9W across from the High school

4) And all the way up Rt.9W to Berkeley Springs it's the Applebutter festival!
yes,you too can shop and spend and taste test WV Wines and buy applebutter till it comes out your ears! Theres some good buys on the streets and in the local shops.(it's crowded,but it can be fun if you don't have to drag little ones around )

Saturday is 'Middleway Day' over in my neck of the woods.

From 10-3, there are walking tours and demonstrations,
and there will be a 'Chinese Auction', whatever that is.

Middleway is in Jefferson County, just off of Route 51,
halfway between Charles Town and Inwood.

10/15 Canines on the Canal charity dog walk

When is Mummers?

I know it's coming up, but I guess we should post it in the Maryland events!

Oct 29 is a 5k trail run/walk in Shepherdstown for the Audobon Society. Help the birdies!

Mummers is USUALLY the first Sat. AFTER Halloween.So it looks like the 5th of Nov.

Fulton Fall Folk Festival 10/14 - 10/16. Throughout the county. Lots of good food, crafts, many, many, many yard sales.

Just found out...Mummers parade is October 29th!

10/13-16 -- Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival

I was so upset at missing Colorfest! And it was soooo cold in Chicago. Stupid wedding....

Most weddings are stupid.And a waste of good money for basically nothing but worry and trouble till the stupid thing is over.
