Anyone watch it? I think it's pretty funny. Not quite as funny as The Family Guy... but still worth keeping in my lineup.

I love it!

It's really funny and a different spin for a sitcom.
Plus, it helps that it's on after "The Biggest Loser." I hate to miss an episode of that!

Biggest Loser is the only reality TV I watch... mostly because it's on before My Name is Earl... although I do like to watch people lose weight and get healthy. I think it's a positive thing.

It's my only reality show too, for the same reason!

I stopped recording it a few weeks ago. Not that is was bad, just the opposite actually. It was fairly amusing. There's just too much other good stuff competing for my limited tv time.
I'm still clinging on to The Office, though. They've had several strong episodes this season.

I was considerably disappointed in Jason Lee when I saw the previews for this show. I thought it looked horrible and I couldn't imagine what Lee was thinking to take on such a stupid project.
I haven't watched it for that reason, but it's good to hear some positive things about it. Maybe I'll try to watch it now.

I LOVE Mallrats soooo much and when I saw previews for this show, I was ready to watch/record every week. I've been way too swamped with my toughest semester yet to even read the posts on H-M, so I obviously haven't even seen a single episode.

We only recently started watching it, and we like it a lot. Have to admit it's embarrassing to me because I used to hang out with people just like Earl and Randy, and I had an El Camino (it was 2-tone from the factory, thank you).
Problem is, we keep remembering it's on on Tuesday evening on Wednesday evening.

Did hear Hagerstown and Cumberland mentioned on this show last night? Or was I hearing things?

We heard it! DH and I were like, "Check it out! Hagerstown was mentioned!"
Anyone know where this is supposed to be set? At this point, because of the H-town mention, I am guessing Maryland. The "Crab Shack" seems to imply MD, too.

I caught that too. I love the show so far.

Considering the only other Hagerstown I know of is in Indiana and I don't think there is a Cumberland there... has to be MD or surrounding area....
The fair was referred to as the Carlton County Fair, I think, any counties in the surrounding area with a name like that....

Could it have been Carroll County Fair?

I saw the re-run over the weekend and thought for sure it said Camden County.

Me, too... but that was the last one they aired in their 4-show marathon, and I was tipsy by the time it came on.

Mystery solved. Seems the writer/developer of the show is a Frostburg Univ grad who includes local flavor in the show. Article in this morning's Morning Herald. I haven't seen the article on-line so I can't post a link.

Way cool!

Ya think he might read our forum?
Hi, Earl writer! Give Jason Lee a great big smooch for me. Seriously.

Greg (the creator) was a friend of mine at Frostburg (I graduated in 1993). I know The Crab Shack is really the RePub or Republican Pub from school but I would guess from our many travels that they actually live in Paw Paw or thereabouts in WV. The area on the other side of the Potomac from Cumberland, on the way out to Keyser, WV, was a great spot in college.
