I read a list of certain "law-breakers" the RIAA has targeted for down loading songs online. The funny thing is, it's just the individuals screen name on the P2P server that they posted. Looks like the RIAA is having trouble getting ISPs to turn over the users account information. GOOD!! I hope they have fun spending millions in these phoney baloney scare tactics. They need to remember , We make them they dont make us. The RIAA can take the so called "hit list" of theirs and stick it where the sun dont shine. http://www.techtv.com/news/culture/story/0...3484600,00.html

That is the link to the "hit-list" article by tech tv. LOL get real RIAA !! See if any of us peons go to anymore of these 60 dollar rip off concerts to buy a 25 dollar "3-wash and the ink comes off" T-shirts. Not to mention the small loan patrons have to take out to buy a cup of beer or soda. mad.gif

This article does not mention that the soupenas also have associated the IPs of each individual as well as their MAC address. These documents are telling the ISPs to compare their logs to the IPs and MACs to reach a name. Which, having administered a linux network, isn't much of a trouble.

I've also noticed the latest P2P programs have built in anti-RIAA snooping software with them. There is always going to be a way around the RIAA.
