Went to an interesting dinner theater type event event last night. It was a Cowboy Christmas show at Antietam Rec, south of Hagerstown. I've always heard about them doing summer camp, but had never been there before.
We arrived late (soccer tournament

), so we missed the hayride and stuff, but got there in time for dinner. It was pretty good...baked potato, bbq beef, baked beans, applesauce, biscuit, and gingerbread. The stage show was cute, but the highlight was the guy who did all the rope tricks. He was amazing! It's a nice family event that I would definitely recommend.
Just keep in mind it is a CHRISTMAS show, and they even say grace before the meal. Even if you aren't into the religious aspects, though, I think it would be enjoyable.
I think tix are $18 for adults and $12 for kids (ours were a gift), and it runs every Friday and Saturday through the end of the year. 301-797-3733 for info and reservations.
