I am very disappointed in Shawn Taylor. That's not the kind of behavior I expect out of our Joe Gibbs-led team. That's the kind of stuff that Filthydelphia and Dallas do.... He plays hard and contributes to the overall success, but if that's how he's going to behave, I don't want him on my team. Wouldn't want Michael Vicks' little brother, either.
Example, please, of any Dallas/Philly player spitting in the face of an opponent. Don't think you'll find one. The Eagles fans are another story, but the Cowboys fans can't be accused of anything worse than being fair weather.
Too bad about Sean Taylor. I really liked him when he played for The U. Unfortunately, that is probably part of his attitude problem. Between games, Mort on ESPN said that Taylor likely would only be fined (not suspended) by the league because they don't want to hurt competition by removing a key player from a playoff game. What a freakin' joke! Like any of these multi-millionaires care about a fine.
I'll be honest, I don't recall any incidents of Eagles or Cowgirls players spitting, but they play dirty in other ways.
Would somebody tell me what "The U" is, and why they think it's so special?
As far as Sean Taylor, he got on my bad side when he was involved in the shooting in Miami at the beginning of the season, and I'd be happy if he moved on.
The Redskins under Joe Gibbs have always been ethical gentlemen (the worst we had was Sonny, Billy, & Riggins' drinking), and I'm not impressed with how they've become "Bad Boys". That's what Dallas players do - I divorced the 'Skins when Deon was on the team!) We've got Congress to fill that role in DC, we don't need the football team supplementing it!
