I was waiting for someone to pick the skins and steelers laugh.gif i would love to say my Skins are going to do it
but I wouldn't put any $$$ on it. steelers have it a lot tougher than the skins but I do think they will wax the
Bengals in Cincy. after that I'm not too sure
YeomanWeller
Redskins and Steelers
BMIC
Wrong question: it should be who do you WANT to be in the Super Bowl?

They'll probably mess up before making it to the big game, but the only NFL team I give a rats a** about are the Redskins. So even if they may not have much chance of making it, the only team I will vote for is the Redskins. They're winning for now, so I'm thrilled!
Peanuts
Colts and Redskins. I've been a Skins fan since the 70's and know they are a long-shot, but you got to have hope.
Romulus
Colts -vs- Giants

Skins wont make it out of Tampa.

I fear you may be right. The 'skins' only hope is that the Bucs forget to pay off the refs this time.

Just like the Skins payed off the refs in the giants game. Im not a giants fan at all but if you watched the game even the skins announcers said that quite a few times the calls were wrong.
Biggins
Ron Dayne vs. Clinton Portis

I think the Jaguars will be "surprising," but I can see the Redskins coming out of a weak NFC. The AFC is going to be the Broncos with a great performance from Ron Dayne in one of their games.

Regardless, yes, let's hope that the refs' poor judgement is not the deciding factor in any of the playoff games. It ruins it for everyone - one generally is less troubled when it works in your favor, but an honest victory or loss is always better.

What an ugly second half - they made it by the seat of their pants! They can't keep playing like that, or .....

I am very disappointed in Shawn Taylor. That's not the kind of behavior I expect out of our Joe Gibbs-led team. That's the kind of stuff that Filthydelphia and Dallas do.... He plays hard and contributes to the overall success, but if that's how he's going to behave, I don't want him on my team. Wouldn't want Michael Vicks' little brother, either.

Can you believe Lavar after the game? Reminds me of the Cowardly Lion after the Wizard gave him his medal - Awww shucks folks, I'm speechless!

Example, please, of any Dallas/Philly player spitting in the face of an opponent. Don't think you'll find one. The Eagles fans are another story, but the Cowboys fans can't be accused of anything worse than being fair weather.

Too bad about Sean Taylor. I really liked him when he played for The U. Unfortunately, that is probably part of his attitude problem. Between games, Mort on ESPN said that Taylor likely would only be fined (not suspended) by the league because they don't want to hurt competition by removing a key player from a playoff game. What a freakin' joke! Like any of these multi-millionaires care about a fine.
dirkthedaring
I thought I also heard that Shawn Taylor would also be suspended for next weeks game as well as fined. I believe they said that after the game but I could be wrong.
SMan
Fingers crossed here for a suspension. I've had the unwelcome experience of having somebody spit in my face before.....but that's a story for another time. ph34r.gif rolleyes.gif

Robbie alomar, Bill Romanowski, & Sean taylor. All classless idiots!!! You can take the player out of Miami but you can't take the Miami out of the player

We made it!
tongue.gif biggrin.gif

And yes, Taylor's actions were uncalled for, but I'm glad we didn't need him to win the game. Ya gotta give credit to the Redskins' defense!

BTW, did anyone catch Reynaldo's broken arm as he rolled over on the field? Nasty! It was almost as nasty as Theisman's broken leg!
SMan
If Taylor get suspended, the 'skins could be in trouble. He's scored TD's the last two weeks, hasn't he?
CommuterMike
Taylor's not suspended. even though he should've been...

I'll be honest, I don't recall any incidents of Eagles or Cowgirls players spitting, but they play dirty in other ways.

Would somebody tell me what "The U" is, and why they think it's so special?

As far as Sean Taylor, he got on my bad side when he was involved in the shooting in Miami at the beginning of the season, and I'd be happy if he moved on.

The Redskins under Joe Gibbs have always been ethical gentlemen (the worst we had was Sonny, Billy, & Riggins' drinking), and I'm not impressed with how they've become "Bad Boys". That's what Dallas players do - I divorced the 'Skins when Deon was on the team!) We've got Congress to fill that role in DC, we don't need the football team supplementing it!
BMIC
I want my 'skins to be ruthless, mean and vicious. Fight hard, fight "dirty" but don't draw the penalty - whatever it takes to win. But spitting in somebody's face right in front of a ref: that's just plain STUPID!

Nice aggression, I like THAT: but it's got to be CONTROLLED.
dirkthedaring
Here is why I dont really care for the Redskins much anymore. I've always liked 2 teams (yes I just couldnt decide who I liked better!) and the skins were one of them but since Daniel Snyder bought them they are now exculsively my "number 2" team. It just seems that since day 1 of his taking over things have been "wrong" with them.
