I am writing an article for someone that requires "preformatted hard breaks except between paragaphs." The article is being written in a plain text doc. Can anyone tell me what this means?

Keep in mind, I am a computer idiot. So use small words, please. wink.gif

I guess what I'm saying is, does this mean I open up a notepad doc, write the article, and every time the words start to scroll of the screen, do I hit "enter" key for a hard return? Is that what this means? Or do I actually have to do something else, like, HTML-y?

I always thought that had to do with HTML formatting or with the way an e-mail program interpreted text and how to treat extra long lines and how to wrap the text.

I guess I would ask the "someone" and have them clarify.
