I belong to several different types of message boards. I find this board very entertaining and I enjoy the different perspectives. One board in particular I visit is a NASCAR Drivers FanClub board. It used to be an "open forum". Depending on the results of a race on a Sunday the action would usually be pretty cool. Let something odd happen and people would sign up to post just to inflict harm or stir up controversy. They were labeled "Trolls". They are easy to spot . The catch phrase was "no matter how much noise they made you did not "feed" them. Dont feed Trolls and they disappear.....until the next controversy happens. Another GREAT site is marylandsdoc.com It is run by and for Correctional Officers and their familys. The Troll inciting done there is way worse than what gets done here. Sorry to say when a negative post gets someones "gander" and they reply the "Trolls" just love it. I went to Staples and traded in my "EASY" button for an "IGNORE" button. Heh....sometimes it even works!
