Hello everyone out there in Hagerstown/Frederick!

I thought up an idea, what hopefully could turn out to be a fairly large team/organization. I know a lot of other cities in other areas do that, so I thought why not Hagerstown/Frederick???

Basically what we would do is come together on a certain schedule, and meet either at someones house, or area, and all get together and play some LAN games. I run a fairly medium sized gamesever hosting company, and I love to play games. I'm not a younger kid either, (i'm 27) not to say that being young is a bad thing!!! I think this would be a great idea for fellow gamers and anyone else around the area that would like to get together, meet each other and have some fun. The ideas are endless, and i've just got up a website for it, so give it a try, the page is VERY basic right now, as I just got it up. I just wanted to throw the idea out there and see how many people would be interested in participating. So head on over to http://www.fredericklan.com, signup and post a message in our forums, and let us know you're interested!

Thanks,

Jeff

I'd probably be interested, though I haven't been playing many FPS lately. Ever since I got sucked into EQ in 1999, I've been playing lots of MMOs. Currently I'm playing World of Warcraft, have a couple level 60s and working on another right now.

Give me a few hours and I can probably get the twitch back though.

My friend gave me a 10 day guest pass to WoW, and it just ended last weekend. I was a night elf and got up to level 7 until my pass ran out. I liked the game! There are so many different options and quests, etc. that I don't think you could ever beat the game, if that's even possible! I mean, it would take years I would think! If I had more time I might have considered paying for the membership, but it's not worth it for the little bit of time I'd actually spend playing.

One of the best things about WoW over other MMOs that I've played is that you can play it in small chunks and still feel like you accomplished something. I played EverQuest for about 5 years, and it was insanely tiresome and demanding. I would literally receive phone calls from guildmates at 3am in the morning waking me up to go to a raid.

$15/mo is pretty cheap when you compare it to one night at the movies for 2-3 hours.
