Yea. A few times. Pa. is better. More park like,employees are more friendly,patrons are more friendly,real,clean bathrooms,micro-brew and winery on the premises( ),"royalty" shows up all over the park and participates and interacts with patrons,lots of acts going on all over the shire,......

md. is nasty,dirty port-a-potties,unmannered customers,invisiable"royalty",dusty,mulched paths that are taken over by those huge,honken baby suv's,.......

I was talking with a fellow that "plays" Jack Sperrow and he says he's going to have some keys made up that look like the one in the new POTC movie. I told him I want one for my collection of keys that I have for the Faire.

My kids & I are going Saturday, as far as I know (unless they change plans on me!) They're doing something with dad on Sunday. I've got to load up on the sunblock, I got sooo burnt last Sunday at the Potomac Fest!

Sun. is looking alittle better with scattered T storms and parly sunny.
May have to carry a large plastic bag for my Cavalier hat. You don't want to get them wet!

Ah...what a day! Had a good time.The Glengary Bhoys were good as always. Free "tastes" of scotch whiskey(got two free basesball hats ),wondered thru the Shire and caught up on the news with an old friend(hey to gadget!),ran into another old friend from the Shire and didn't reconise him!(* so embarrassed*), spent money$$$$$(found some nice stuff), hubby got staggering drunk ,had fun watching the people scatter when the rain fell(and boy did it come down at times! ), oh! and I fit into my corset!!!
Can't wait till next year! Looking forward to when the Faire opens in Aug!

I didn't go

Was scared off by the forcast for Saturday. Didn't want to pay the $$, drive, and then get rained out; so we planned to go yesterday. Turned out I should've gone Saturday after all...it wasn't all that bad!
