Ok... so I have some shirts I think are pretty funny... but are they offensive?
Maybe my "censor" button doesn't work right in my head. Or maybe I'm too sensitive and am worked up about nothing. But how would you feel if you (and your kids) saw someone (ok, an adult woman someone) wearing any of these shirts in public:
1. Elmo, with his arms outstretched, and the words "Wanna Play?"
2. A corporate zombie. See here:
http://www.threadless.com/product/141/Corporate_Zombie3. "Nice Girls Fake It..." (and then in smaller print) "Real Fur Hurts Animals"
4. A picture of a bunny with one bloody stump instead of a paw, and the words "Unlucky."
I tend to only wear these shirts to friends' homes and stuff--not out in public--'cause I don't want to offend people. But are they really as offensive as I think?

I personally find them amusing.
However in today's overly "politically Correct" world, people are offended to easily.
This board SOMETIMES is a prime example.
Take everything with a grain of salt. Roll with the punches, etc......

PF,
I have to agree. They don't seem offensive to me. And, to be honest, I don't read most t-shirts that people wear, unless it is in big letters and very obvious. Just don't want to seem rude by staring at the wrong area!

But, then, maybe you guys are speed readers!

Think about it this way, would you hold back your opinion's because someone might find them offensive.
I don't see a problem with any of them, but then again it takes a lot to offend me.
I remember a tee-shirt when I was younger that said "Silly Faggot Dicks are for Chicks" I think it had a rabbit on it along the lines of "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids". Now that would probably offend alot of people.

PF, I think your shirts are fine. I kind of enjoy reading t-shirts, except for the gross ones or the sleazy ones that some girls wear, then I just shake my head.
I work in an office that serves troubled teens, and some of the shirts I see worn there are pretty shocking. Of course, that's probably why they wear them.

I don't find any of the ones listed as offensive or even shocking. I've got 10 in my closet that are worse than any of those.

Um...let me say this: I would not let my teenager or younger wear "wanna play". It could invite a similar but perhaps more crude remark from a passing guy. Same with nice girls fake it. We "get" the original intent. IMO clothing says something about the wearer and there are certain things I do not want my kids saying.

Most t-shirts are seen as more offensive or more witty by the wearers than those viewing them.
No offense but they all seem a bit lame. (Hmm...a pun on #4.)

I saw one at the beach a couple years back that read
"Every time you masterbate, God kills another kitten"
Not sure what it meant, but thought that was the most "offensive", aside from a shirt some kids in high school used to wear....self made of course, that read:
"Dahmer ate Jesus"
