Since we know have some rebuilding to do, I was wondering if anyone has any input on Homes by Keystone.

We have walked through the models and found them to be nice.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I have a friend who owns a Keystone home, a beautiful Cape Cod. His was built about 5 years ago, and he's very happy with it. I've never heard anything negative about Keystone.

Best wishes in your rebuilding efforts smile.gif

Thank you both. I have not seen anything against Keystone either. That sort of worries me. Oh well I guess it is possible for high customer satisfaction.

Quite the pessimist aren't you laugh.gif

something must be wrong. i can't find anything bad about them laugh.gif

I wouldn't hesitate to call them and ask them for references. If your going to put out that kind of money they should be happy to provide you with references. If you know of any communities where they were the primary builder I would take a ride through the neighborhood and look at the houses. the older the better.
maybe even ask around the neighborhood and see if anyone has had problems or are satisfied. Best of luck during this tough time

I always heard they were a step below Foremost, but judge for yourself.

That is always what I heard also. Though Keystone doesn't make a bad house, Foremost's are a little higher grade. Of course you will pay for that also. My parents live in a Keystone house that they got in 1975 and it has help up good over the years.

I looked at the Foremost homes and almost got one, but there was a huge waiting list and they kept adding extra costs because of the price of materials going up. My Fiance's Uncle ended up building the house for us and we have had other family help out on the house and that has saved us quite a bit, though it's still very expensive.
