YAY!! You figured out how to use it! I know you were trying at the meet and greet.

Pretty little girl. Who's the orange lion?
I usually get tadpoles in my pool cover this time of the year. In the evenings it's "Frog Hollar" here.

The orange lion is Spence. He's the brother to my orange ones. When he was a kitten, I found him a home with someone I worked with. While she was on travel, her son kicked him. I went to their house, (their friend told me about it and let me in), and he was limping badly so I took him to the vet. His leg was broken in three places and had been healing incorrectly for weeks. They put several pins in his leg and said the leg probably wouldn't grow and he'd always limp. So, with pins in his shaved leg and stitches poking out, I took him to my parents so that they would see him hobble around and fall in love with him. Of course mom fell in love and has had him ever since. His leg is just fine too.
He's got a baaaad attitude problem though. Always has.
How's your babies?

Weird. I had an orange lion growing up, his name was Spencer. Had him from the time I was 7 until I was 21 - and it was rough when I finally had to let him go. He was a PHAT cat though (in both senses of the word). He topped out at 23 lbs and my hometown newspaper covered a story that featured him titled "Fat Cats and Porky Pooches". I was a proud mama.

Heather--Green eyed girl looks like my mother's cat Mittens we had when I was a child.
I have a Critter now. I have to track down my digital camera--in other words steal it back from my son...to show you Critter.
Phuulx--love Lake. I had a G-S when I was a kid named Brutus. Loved him--you could hug the stuffing out of him and be in the worst mood and then he was still thrilled to see you!! Great memories...

Awwwww, they are all so cute! I may have to stop looking on this thread...makes me want to have another dog..... But, I have enough animals already!!
Heather,
Are those roosters/hens?? Are they yours? You have a nice family there.
I have a black and white cat too, male and add on some pounds. Green eyed lady defintely has that dainty female look to her! So pretty. And one of my other cats could be related to your lion. Same coloring.
Lake, Sadie and Josie look like they could be in the same family! All are beautiful. They all look like big pups still. Are they all young?
Sheash,
Love your goats... so cute. Would love to have one myself.
And honestly, your little Schotzie looks like a stuffed animal!
If I can figure out how to do it, I will post my animals. I have four..... almost got a fifth when WVD was talking about her bunny and Heather posted the pics. Had to go to the pet store and find one myself. But, nobody had any bunnies. I guess it was for the best! Got my hands full as is. Need my sons to help me take the cats to the vet . Man, three of them at one time is way too much for one person!
Thanks, love the pics!

beasts' pics
Everyone's fur babies look so cute!
Checkingin - they are egg laying hens, not roosters. They are collectively called "the girls." None of the pics I posted are my animals really. Like FIB said, all my pets are in heaven too. These animals are from my parent's place, but since I don't have any of my own anymore, I kind of half-claim them too.
txex - How do these white mittened cats keep their white fur so clean? I can wear a pair of brown shoes and have them all scuffed up at the end of the day and yet Mitzi's paws always look snow white...and she even rolls in the dirt!
Look at Josie's lil pig belly hanging out!

It wooks wike a wittle bare pink pig belly. Awww.

Is he a brindle pitbull?
Ours is female and she is black with a white star under her chin. And always on my bed too!! She is the sweetest dog that I have ever had. Little bit of a ninny too. I was outside with her and she saw a frog hopping around for the first time and ran right inside the door and hid behind my husband's legs! Her name is Deja Vu but we call her DayDay.

Did you see the article in H-M a month or so ago about how many animals they put down last year? Very sad. So yes, feather, if you feel the urge, go to the shelter!
BTW, the little one picked out a cat theme for her b-day party and inserted a donation request for the humane society instead of presents in the invites!!

Yes, if I ever do get one, it will be rescued from a shelter. That's not the part that needs convincing. It's actually allowing myself to get one that is up in the air.
Oh Moms, your daughter is so sweet! How mature and compassionate of her.

Help!
I was sitting here with the front door open and kept hearing this yeep up up, yeep up up, yeep up up.
Really loud too. I looked out my door and there is a little baby robin sitting on my porch swing. It's pretty good size and seems like it should be able to fly soon. But I don't know what to do.
Afraid to leave it for fear a cat will get it. My dog is scared to death of it! She is such a ninny.
Well, I just was chasing it all over the living room. It's hops like crazy and tries to fly a bit, but comes crashing down. Doesn't seem to be hurt at all. But what to do??? Help??
P.S. It's a baby robin.

Nevermind,
I have a happy ending.
I took the baby robin out to see if I could find a nest in one of my trees. Well, I have a little magnolia in the front yard that's only about 4 feet tall and there was another little robin sitting on a branch.
So, I went over and it just looked up at me and didn't move at all. I took my baby and put it on the little branch beside its sibling. Then, the sib flys away! So, I figure, this little guy just needs a good "kick in the butt!"
I rustle the branches and yeah, he flys off, for about two yards. And crashes. Not hurt though. So, I put him back in the little tree. I get my dog and go back inside.
He's just sittin there.........(I'm looking out the window but keeping dog and cats away from window, so as to be out of sight). By the way, I have three cats and not one of them batted an eye when the little guy was hopping all over the place.
Finally, mama flys down on the branch beside him and then she hops off and lands on the ground. Baby does the same thing! Mama flys a little, so does baby, but doesn't get as far. So mama hops away as baby follows. Both end up under a well padded spruce tree. Whew!! All is well!
