Old Griz
I finally got around to taking my wife and 7 yr old daughter to RC Ching on Dual Highway...
To say we were impressed is an understatement...
A couple of things that really impressed me before I even got my food..
1. Tables are well spaced and not crowded
2. Atmosphere and decorations are tastefully done and comfortable
3. Waitress we had was fantastic, had a fantastic knowledge of the foods and made good suggestions.
4. Treated my daughter like she was as important as the adults (A BIG PLUS to me)

Now let's get to the food..
1. Menu is varied with a lot more choices that I have seen anywhere else locally... In fact it was a varied as some of the better Chinese restaurants I used to eat in when I still lived in NY.
2. Peking Duck ... on the menu all the time.... the waitress said to just make sure you order it immediately because it take 30 minutes prep time. If you have never had it... try it.
3. Children's menu and portions. Fantastic.. My daughter loves Sweet and Sour Chicken and they served a perfectly sized child's serving.
4. Fried Dumplings .. one of the items I judge a restaurant by... some of the best I have had in a long long time... the dipping sauce was perfect and the hot oil was as spicy as anyone could ever ask for.
5. Rice was served in a large bowl, family style. I thought that was fantastic...
6. Dinner was served in beautifully made platters instead of those ugly stainless steel covered dishes you see everywhere. The dinner plates were beautiful and have raised sides, almost like a very shallow bowl. There was more than enough, even for someone who eats like I do
7. The meal itself was out of this world... The Hunan Lamb was amazingly tender and the vegetables were done just right as was the black bean sauce they were made in. The meal came out piping hot, like it should and was served in a professional manner...

Over all, as my daughter said.... "This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant." WE will be going back.

Yeah, I like it, too. DH prefers it over every other Chinese restaurant in town.

However, bring a sweater! We've eaten there three or four times, and it's always been freezing!
