anyone listen to chili peppers new album yet?
I just listened to it at the link below. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. double CD 28 songs
They could have cut half the songs and came up with 1 killer CD but I guess they were in a creative mood.
as usual no bad songs just some are better

ALL NEW! So far my fav's are Dani California, Hump de Bump, Shes only 18, strip my mind,turn it again,wet sand, & storm in a teacup is my fav on the album. Of course I'll listen to it 50 times in the next 2 weeks so that all might change

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Funk-rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers topped the U.S. charts for the first time in its 22-year history on Wednesday.
The Chili Peppers' two-disc set, "Stadium Arcadium," opened with sales of 442,500 copies, a record for the Los Angeles-based quartet.
Its previous best was 282,000 for its last studio release, "By The Way," which opened at No. 2 in 2002. The band's biggest commercial success was the 1999 album "Californication," with sales of 5.3 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"Stadium Arcadium" was also tops in Austria, Belgium, Britain, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland, the band's spokeswoman said. In the United Kingdom, it marked the group's third No. 1. The band is more popular in Europe than at home.

I still haven't listened to the whole thing. It's so long!
But I did enjoy a chuckle when their album was leaked and they got pissed off. When are "artists" going to learn? When we want your music, we will get it. No matter if it's the best quality or not. No matter if we pay for it or not.

Yeah that was a little much. The whole your stealing our heart and soul! Then on a download I did get of a concert that they recently did Flea is telling people " I hope your taping this because its brand new stuff"
