I found a very interesting web site that lists companys that employ illegal aliens. If anyone is interested go to www.wehirealiens.com and you will find a list of businesses that employ illegal aliens. You may also use the site to search for companys that hire illegal aliens or post a business that you know of that hires them.

AND??!?!?! dry.gif

It is a shame that citizens must try to do the job government is supposed to do. I am all for nailing those knowingly hiring illegals, but sites like this can be used by people with a grudge and no proof to smear good people. Let's see some Dateline stings like they did with the pedophiles!
cfulmor
I'll have a problem with the "illegals" when and only when, the welfare rolls are empty.

The "illegals" everyone is screaming about, are providing goods and services.

Now you take all the welfare momma's and daddy's and give them these jobs. Then send the illegals back.

Unfortunately, the welfare deadbeats are to "comfortable" sitting at home on their fat butts, collecting the checks.
Snoopy
Two separate issues, c. And welfare has a time limit now, no?

Illegals are taxing some medical systems so badly the hospitals have to close. Crime rates go up as a result of illegals. National security could be compromised. On and on.

What part of illegal is okay with you?

That would be cool.

Though I'm not sure the Dateline stings did anything to lower the number of pedophiles on the Internet. I doubt it would help with companies that hire illegals.

Not sure what we need to do to find these companies... maybe undercover folks out at Home Depot or whatever?
cfulmor
Just can't help but tie the two together Snoop.

Welfare sluffers complaining about no jobs, yet the "illegals" seem to have no trouble at all finding jobs.

well since the mexicans heard about amnisty, they said it looks like a stamped headiing for the border, wages in the us is goiing to be nothing before long , the paper said companys have so much moneynow, they just dont know what to do with it, but bush still pushes billions of dollars of our tax money on them ???

At least it would help people realize the extent of the problem -- like the pedophile reports did. And, I imagine if companies were exposed, their business would drop off and maybe some would change their ways. Would it affect your buying habits if you found out small or giant stores knowingly hired illegals? It would mine.
Mcgee
Idiot,
You forgot fresh picked tomatoes from the Eastern shore.
They bus them into the fields to pick them. Plus apples, peaches, just to name a few local picking areas.
samy0
It would be a lot shorter of a list if you were to list what products and stores are truly ALL AMERICAN.
I would venture to guess that probably over 75% of consumables are at one point in the process touched, packaged, or processed by immigrants. It is what it is and I don't think your ever going to get this horse back in the barn. trying to eliminate the immigrants that are already here is just not a realistic goal. the more efficient thing to do is eliminate any NEW illegals and find a way to tax the ones that are here already then subject them to the same penalties that any citizen would face for not paying taxes

theres one way to stop it, build that 3 tiered fenceand man it, then go after the people that hire these undocumented people , put these company heads in jail and find them millions of dollars, then they will all go home , we wont have to spend a dime sending them home , theres no other way to do it , as long as theres jobs for them or people to hire them they will be here, one more thing , get rid of bush i think hes sleeping with them.

Do you buy BIC pens, or Dell computers?

Do you shop at Big Lots, BJ’s, Family Dollar, Home Depot, K-Mart, Office Depot, Pep Boys, Sears, Target, or Walmart?

Do you eat Tyson Foods or Perdue chicken? What about Butter Ball turkeys, Green Giant vegetables, or Sara Lee desserts?

Ever stay at a Best Western, Holiday Inn, Marriot, or Radisson hotel?

Have you ever rented a car from Avis?

Do you ever eat at Burger King, Cracker Barrel, Dunkin’ Donuts, Golden Corral, Hooters, Jack-in-the-Box, KFC, McDonald’s, Olive Garden, Subway, Taco Bell, TGI Fridays, Applebees, Waffle House, or Wendy’s?

That’s just the tip of the iceberg my friend.

Please supply proof they knowingly hired illegals, and what, if anything, law enforcement did about it.

We know you got by with it -- did all of those companies as well?

If we took away their jobs I don't think they would all be running back across the border. Its a lot easier to get a handout or free meal here than in Mexico. Take away your jobs and the only thing you get is Unemployed illegals. I think I'd rather have them gamefully employed than sitting around wondering how they are going to get some money
cfulmor
Well said Samy0

There are enough degenerates out there now, look at the welfare rolls.

You take away the jobs, crime goes up. See the corelation?

Interesting point. The studies that show that attrition by enfrcement works are looking at situations where there are other parts of the U.S. where they can move to and still find jobs. If we tried the same strategy nationwide, there'd be no place for them to go, and they'd probably just stay put.

A very interesting point and one that makes a lot of sense.

I believe that most Mexican people are too proud to beg and too honest to be criminals. They truly want to work. That being said, people do a lot of things that they don't want to do when they have no other options.
cfulmor
So is that your Excuse for Crime? blink.gif

I sure hope not.

Then there are those who just want a free ride. Those are YOUR constituents my friend.

I believe in a Hand up, not in a Hand out.

I believe that most HUMANS are too proud to beg and too honest to be criminals. But it's the ones who came here without permission, regardless of what country they came from, who are therefore ALREADY criminals whom we should all be wary of.

One big problem with all of the amnesty proposals is that I believe one standard qualification required for immigrants to become naturalized citizens is that they be of genrerally "good moral character" or something similar. Illegal aliens broke our nation's laws by coming here without permission and are by definition "illegal" = criminals to begin with, and therefore disqualified for naturalization.

i saw it on the news, a black guy said he couldent get a job down there because he wasnt illegal .
cfulmor
He is just making an excuse.

the goverment is only telling us part of the story here, there not giveing us the real facts, that in 10 yearsthey will be 20 million or more mexicans , when they get all there familys here, andand 200,000 that comes in legal. we will have to trade countrys.
tagout
what ever happened to the people we put in office are supposed to do what is right for the american people,? so does this all mean , instead of big companys spending all that money to relocate to another country, bring the other country to them??? and when theres to many workers then the americans are out of work,,, just how can our goverment do such a thing to its people?
Snoopy
Illegal aliens are a problem, no matter what, and we must address them. Legal aliens are an issue we have to take up with our elected "leaders". Both are important.
tagout
well, there still catching them and letting them go. bushes plan.

QUOTE
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell said Thursday that extending walls along the U.S.-Mexico border will not solve the problem of illegal immigration.

"The Berlin Wall did not work perfectly and the wall that the Israelis are putting up is not going to work perfectly," Powell said. "So, a wall alone is not the answer."

An immigration measure approved by the U.S. Senate offers illegal immigrants a chance at citizenship while extending fences along the border. The House passed a measure making all illegal immigrants subject to felony charges. Negotiations to reconcile the proposals have yet to begin.

Powell, speaking at a business conference in Mexico City, said any new barriers should include gates and other entrances to provide easy- access between both countries.

He said U.S. authorities should let many of the estimated 12 million undocumented migrants already in America earn some form of legal status through expanded temporary-worker programs.

"We have to find a way for them to live in dignity and not in fear," he said.

And this guy gets paid to give speeches, unbelievable.

A wall sure won't hurt.

House and Senate negotiations to reconcile the proposals have yet to begin why not I guess they have better things to do like voting on the marriage amendment and flag burning.
tagout
did he mention the one million child predators and sex affendors from mexico , that now live in the usa in jails, and a lot more thats not in jail, and he still wants a fence with gates.
BMIC
With millions of Mexicans coming across illegally each year without one, the wall hardly needs to work "perfectly" to have a HUGE impact in the problem. Of course if need be we could install motion-sensor-activated robotic submachine guns to increase the wall's effectiveness...

I nominate B for border czar!

Can you provide a link to documentation to support that claim?

Why not just take his word for it? That's what you wanted a few posts ago.

Maybe it makes no difference to him if you believe it or not.... rolleyes.gif

You took my word for the former. Why not now?

Many of these places flat out admit it when questioned and the rest of them refuse to go on record publicly one way or the other on the issue.

The only one that I know of that law enforcement (ICE) did anything about was Tyson Foods. I honestly believe that the only reason they intervened in that case was because TF was transporting them into the country and that was interfering with a very lucrative business venture run by people with friends in high places.

Believe it or not, makes no difference to me.

Because Idiot thinks we just pull those kinds of things out of our a**es. Never mind the fact that we may have heard it on a nationally-syndicated radio program or TV show, if we can't produce the data and a link to a web site ourselves we must be liars. dry.gif

Troops scare would-be illegal immigrants away from border, officials say

QUOTE
The soldiers aren't allowed to detain migrants and have been limited to projects like extending border fences and repairing roads, but the military's presence are keeping would-be crossers away from the area, migrant rights activists said.

"Some migrants have told me they heard about the troops on television and, because the U.S. Army doesn't have a very good reputation, they prefer not to cross," Loureiro said, referring to reports of abuse in Iraq. Others have been discouraged by smugglers' fees that have nearly doubled to more than $3,000.

And don't forget, we got to enjoy it while it was happening too. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Yes indeed, my friends across the aisle are getting to enjoy the fruits of the labor of soldiers. NEVER forget that.

Additionally they get a cry-baby sound bite out of it also.
