My wife and I went to the new Hag. bar & grill last night.
It was happy hour 5 to 7pm. We had cheese fry, 2 drafts each.
Then we ordered 2 salads I had buffalo chicken salad it was very good (spicy hot).
My wife had a Italan salad she said it good also.
The prices were very good. $23.00 was the bill.
4 screen tvs, and music. Very nice place i`ll be back.

Tried it and unless there is a change in the menu don't expect that it will be around long.

Can you elaborate on why you feel this way?

I've been there a few times for lunch. The food is okay.. I mean, it's not like you're going to Al Pomodoro or anything. It's always very very clean inside, and the owner is a pretty nice guy to talk to. Plus, they have WiFi.

If it doesn't succeed, its not because of the menu... its the location and people not knowing about it.

Had the buffalo fries and they were all soggy and over glopped up. The hamburger was over cooked, tough and IMHO too large. I would have prefered several smaller portions of better snack stuff, in other words bar food. My better half had a BLT that was very good. The beer was up to snuff. But the atmosphere was just what one would expect in a neighborhood bar, friendly and inviting.

No pool tables. They cause to many problems.
It`s just a nice place to get something to eat and have a cold drink with some friends.
Also not fight the packed places Like UNOS, Olivers, and all the big chain bars and grills.

Ok, I was just wondering. About the pool tables. But of course, I haven't played in years.
Are people really that bad up here. They want to fight someone all the time?

Yes, Hagerstown has way too many Billy Badass's but 98% of them are pansies.

There is a place on Dual Hywy that has pool tables. Can anybody comment on that? I've never been there.
Oops! Sorry, I thought this was the "things to do in Hagerstown" thread. Mods, move this if you want! thanks.
