Last night I stayed up to watch HBO's 2 new Original series, which are going to eventually replace sex in the city and the Sopranos. The first one I watched was called Carnivale. I'd tell you what it was about but after the show was over I said to myself " what the he** did I just watch?". Seriously, the show is frustratingly confussing with really no plot besides a bunch of 1938 Carnies and some kid who has the ability to heal people. Bottom line, I hated it.

Second series was called "K" Street. About James Carville and some of his Democratic buddies doing work in Washington DC. How exciting! I remember this show when it was called the "REAL WORLD" on MTV. This is the Real world meets Politics. Yawn!!! I would love to see the producers trying to pitch the show to the HBO guys, "Ok guys heres the deal we put cameras in the offices of James Carville and follow him around DC to watch him work and listen to the Awe inspiring conversations he has throughout the day!". Horrible.. Wrapping things up here , I hope HBO really doesnt think these shows will go anywhere or develop a huge fan base like Sex in the city or Sopranos or Band of Brothers(Fantastic by the way). Both new series are just Boring.

I'm sorry. I just oppose TV series's being on pay channels like HBO. I'll stick to Stargate Sg-1, west wing, and ER. But other than that, reruns of Futurama and FAmily guy are always on.
