Hey all! I ran across a flier for this. Here's the details:

Sunday 9/17 from 1-4 pm
Meet at the Long and Foster office, 1100 Dual Hwy.
Volunteers needed: river walkers, boaters, on shore organizers, and moral supporters.
Duties: Removing glass and plastic bottles, cans, plastic bags, tires, bikes, and other debris.
Prize given for the most unusual treasure!
Bring: Friends, family, and everyone else who wants to help; good river shoes or waders; life jackets recommended; appropriate clothing and a dry change for after; boats; energy and enthusiasm

Moms...I read the articles about the clean-up. Sounds like it was a great success! I'm wondering what the most unusual treasure was?

Since I didn't go , I have no idea. Maybe you can call the lady then fill us in?? Curiosity is a wonderful thing!

But I'm glad it went well. I never saw any follow up on it, but I'm a little preoccupied these days. dry.gif
