I recently downloaded Skype so I could talk to some friends overseas using the service...
It was recommended that I get a decent USB Headset..... I was told that the quality is better than the microphone and speaker connection that plugs into the soundcard.
Would anyone care to comment.

I haven't used skype, but I used to use a USB headset to play online with the Playstation 2. The voice and sound quality was excellent. I think it was a Logitech of some kind.

Anything has got to be better than those mics that plug into the pink hole on your soundcard.
