blink.gif I just don't know how parents can afford to send their kids to school now a days. Buying new clothing, paying for books, and all the new demands the school places on the kids and parents at the beginning of the year. My golly, Money for this, money for that. Does the school system think that the parents are made of gold or something. Then there's sports. It all begins when school starts. All of these activities, running the kids here and there.....wheeew....the parents ought to get a medal. I know that everyone in my neighborhood with kids are all totally stressed out about the whole thing. You all have my admiration for all you have to do.

Didn't you know? We are MADE OF MONEY--just ask the school board..the fees run now from $5-300/2hr time slots..but as the Wash Cty Bd of Ed said, well, it equals just .50 per kid per week, so we feel that is reasonable..yes, until you add it all up--like 82 sessions for basketball practice--that ends up being $35.00 per kid per year--what do you know, real money....

sad.gif If it is not a two parent household, then I don't know how it can be done if you have more then 1 child. Usually, if the kids are in high school they are working part time and also in sports or music. Who has the time or money for such school activities plus the gas to run the kids back and forth. Aren't we paying school taxes? I don't understand, but I do know the stress in my neighborhood on the kids and parents too.
