Well, seems like alot of people are Missing in Action, hunkered down, or AWOL. Just don't know. So, I thought maybe we should have a thread to shout out to all those that are missing and missed.


Here are some that I can think of....

WVDragonlady-where are you?? Come back. Nobody else likes to talk about what they're cooking. I miss that and alot more!

FeistyIrishbabe-Busy with kids? We understand, but still miss you! Come visit.

BMIC-Worried about you. Why did you just drop off the face of the earth? Hope you are well. We need somebody to pick on!

Marco-Miss your wit? Why did ya leave?

SMan-What's up? Were you forbidden to post?

Sweetliberty- You kept us all grounded. You are needed. What happened? You are a sweetie for sure.

Who have a missed? Or should I say, who have YOU missed? Add to the list. Maybe we can welcome some back.


Oh yeah, and Phish....I didn't forget you. Just giving you time to get settled in your new place.

I've been busy with work and don't get on the computer as much as I did in the past. I am still in 1st place in the H/M Forum fantasy football league though!!!

Ahhh, Biggins, we remember you! I still see you popping in and posting now and then. You know, you were trying to get a federal job and all that. Hope that's to be found, soon!

aw thanks for thinking of me! I never thought I would be missed!
I've been away from the net for awhile, I got really sick with pneumonia and was hospitalized for 5 days. I was sick for a total of 3 weeks and it was a good 2 weeks after that before I had my strength back. I'm back to my old self now but still trying to catch up with things that got neglected while I was sick.
I do peek in and read the forum every once in awhile but I guess I'm more of a lurker now. I stay so busy with my kiddos, and homeschooling these days.

I think a lot of the AWOL's are just choosing not to post for whatever reason. If you click they're names it'll tell you the last time they were on. BMIC on the other hand has not been active since August! I am kind of worried about him. very unlike him to just disappear.

Sometimes ya just need a break.

During my break I got an amazing amount of work done!

BMIC took his ball and went home.

Ya gotta log in to check your private messages. BMIC has disappeared before. We all started to miss him and clamored for his return. Then he came back and was nice for about two days.

I think Phish is probably done with the HM Forums. She's been settled in Philly for awhile now. I think the only reason she came here at all was because she lived here.

From my own perspective, the forums have just been boring. You can only discuss the same topics over and over with the same people, so many times before it's just boring and redundant. The only fun left to have is to squabble with people.

And you know what happens when you squabble with people or dare question them

You can squabble all you want, just do it with the same manners you would show if you met someone on the street, or in the grocery store. Just because we all use nicknames, it does not mean that we should forget the manners our parents should have taught us on how to behave in public.

If you want to tease and play, go ahead. If you want to be hateful and abusive, do it elsewhere. Why is this concept so difficult?

Wait, maybe it isn't. Maybe some people don't really want to come here to exchange ideas and have a good time. Maybe it is no longer fun, if you can't rip others apart.

I think it is sad to realize that, as a community, we no longer seem to have the ability to enter into a discussion, or offer differing opinions without it becoming ugly.
