I love the relatively new Loop section on Thursdays. I buy the print edition each week just for it because the online just isn't as good.

That said, I was really disappointed to open up the 11/30 edition to the "on stage" section, only to find a big picture and article of Wayside Theatre in Middletown, VA doing "A Christmas Story". Closer and cheaper is the Chambersburg Community Theatre's production, even starring a Hagerstown girl as the lead role of Ralphie! The director has called the H-M and the organization's president email pics, but it was only mentioned in a slight paragraph under the daily events section. Way to support the local arts in your readership area mad.gif

And I just so happen to know who that little girl is, who's playing Ralphie... wink.gif

congrats!

This time I get to give kudos to loop....they had great coverage of Antietam Rec's Cowboy Christmas show last week. The Rotz's are some of the kindest people I know. Andy is such a neat guy with all of his rope tricks, even standing on his horse's back and jumping through the lasso! He is so impressive yet so modest. Jess is the sweetest girl on earth and Tim is really coming into his own on stage. They have made a number of improvements to the facility since last year, but the show is roughly the same. Next year will be an entirely new show, though wink.gif I haven't seen the show yet, but hope to this week if they still have seats. It really is a neat evening out, especially for families.
