I have the world's easiest and best recipe for peanut butter fudge.
Given to me last year by a former co-worker. And, I'll share it with you as soon as I locate it!
Stay tuned....
In the meantime, anybody else have a special recipe willing to share??

How about a christmas cocktail? believe me you wouldn't want to eat it if I made it so drinks will have to do
Winter Martini
Fill shaker 2/3 with ice add 1-1/2 shot of apple schnapps, 2 -1/2 shots of cognac or vodka and 2 dashes of sugar syrup. Shake and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a slice of apple.
I prefer the vodka to cognac but to each his own. drink up!
Unbelieveable

I think I remember seeing that in a cookbook from when I was a kid...my sisters and I used to joke about making it and feeding it to our dad cuz he would eat anything, but never did!

Oky,
I've had it before and it really is good. Really creamy and a little tangy, too. I think the velveeta takes the place of butter, if I remember correctly.

I dunno. Just knowing that there's Velveeta in my fudge... I just can't do it! It's like a recipe I noticed the other day for a chocolate cake on my jar of mayo. Eww.
I'll be baking later in the week for a cookie exchange on Sunday, so I'll post the recipes that are my faves as I dig them out of the boxes. I'm still unpacking from my move a few months ago!

Mmmmm! Mayo cake!!!!
I suck at cooking, but I like to try. I have a great cranberry dip for fruit. Found it in "Food and Family", the Kraft cooking magazine. It always has easy, yummy recipes...using their products of course

.
Perfect for me, the non-cook!

Mom's Oyster Stew
(This is the traditional Christmas breakfast in my parents' home)
These are approximations...
1 to 2 pints oysters with liquid
2 to 4 T butter
2 to 4 cups whole milk, half & half or a mix of the two
Sprinkle of paprika
Parsley for garnish
Melt butter in pan. Sauté oysters (reserve liquid) just until the edges curl. Slowly add milk/cream, oyster liquid and salt/pepper if desired. Heat through, but do not boil. Serve hot. (Mom heats bowls before adding stew.) Garnish with paprika and parsley.

LOL... Yep. Traditional Christmas breakfast in my parents' home consists of:
Pork tenderloin
Oyster stew (with crackers)
Sweet rolls/sticky buns
For some reason, I think this is a traditional German Christmas eve meal... not sure, though.
