Hey Peacefrog,

I remember somewhere on here, you said that you had a degree in Psychology.

Do you think you could offer anger management classes here?? blink.gif laugh.gif

I have already signed up for aerobics class and will start next month. Teenage son bet me that I wouldn't last a month! If I dont', I have to get him a new pair of shoes.

If I do, he is scrubbing floors and bathrooms and vacuuming everyday for a month.

So, I gotta do this! unsure.gif

I've resolved to get healthy for the past couple of years, and each year something happens to screw it up. dry.gif This year I blame my oldest son, my job, my landlord, my health, my other job, the list could go on...

So this year I think I can actually achieve it. I have the support I need at home, all I have to due is get the right mind set and get myself away from this computer again! Seriously, sitting here during the day can be my biggest downfall to getting healthy. Getting up and moving is half the battle!

Always on the resolution list, but never gets accomplished. In fact, it usually gets worse. sad.gif

I started at the end of the summer (I was getting flabby) so that I could eat like a pig over the holidays and not feel guilty. I may try to incorporate some weight training, which I despise, with my running after the new year starts.

I noticed you mentioned running around T-day, Sman. Nice to see you're sticking with it.

Weight training helps lose flab, too. And you know... a big guy like you would look super intimidating (re: super cool) with big muscles.

I bet Mrs. Sman would dig your big guns, too. wink.gif

Oh, SMan's a big guy, huh? wink.gif

Actually, I realized I was a little hard on myself up there. I did learn a lot over the past year by meeting with a nutritionist, clearing out my cabinets and pantry of all the bad food and changing my eating habits. Now, over the upcoming year I'll have to incorporate the exercise routine all over again. My nutritionist is also a chiropractor and I started out meeting with her for lower back problems I've been having. Hopefully if I start out slowly I can work my way up to running again and get the dogs involved...they need it too!

Another goal I'm going to be looking into after the first of the year is working as a water exercise instructor. I've taken these classes for years, and decided it's time I start to teach them...plus it will help me stay healthy and away from this evil computer!

Well, I am trying. I bought this Weider pro weight station thing for the whole family. So far I have been working on it for 3 days with minimal progress. The manual is 46 pages long with 42 pages of directions. I think I might have lost 2 or 3 pounds just wrestling with this thing so far. it will be a minor miracle if it is working by xmas. That said I am going to HAVE to use it after going through all this
