It feels like a San Diego/New Orleans Super Bowl to me. How about you?

This weekend's games, I'm going with Colts, Seahawks, and Patriots. My upset special is the Giants over the Eagles (fat chance, I know).
samy0
this weeks games. I'm going with... Seattle-31 Dallas-20... Philly-20 Giants-10....Pats-24 Jets21....and my upset special is Chiefs 28 Colts 27.
SMan
Your upset special is more likely. Mine was more wishful thinking than a real prediction....
momsapilot
Wouldn't that be sweet? LT facing Drew! I'm there! SD stepped in it when they let Drew go, IMHO, so it would be fun to watch.
samy0
3 out of 4. The colts did a fantastic job on D. that said i still like the ravens to beat them and the Chargers to beat the Pats.

I can't believe dallas lost that game like that. heartbreaking! and I loved every minute of it laugh.gif This week I'll Im going with Sea. and NO

I REALLY REALLY enjoyed watching Dallas lose like that. Since the Skins and Steelers are out I'd like to see the Chargers take it all.
SMan
My concern with seeing them lose that way is that it'll become an albatross that Romo won't be able to shake off and move on. He looked and sounded devasted after the game. Up until the botched FG, he was having a solid game (~200 yds. and a TD, no picks) and at least made a good attempt at running for the first down/TD. If only that runt Gramatica would have even bumped that Seattle defender on his way by to tackle Romo....

Even if the FG is good, I was still expecting Seattle to drive in the last minute and win it with a FG of their own. Oh well, at least the the Cowboys made the playoffs and it was an exciting game.
Monk
Romo should have wiped that anointing oil off his fingers.

Didn't the 'Boys can their other kicker and go after Gramatica mid-season? laugh.gif (Sorry, I just dislike the Cowboys in general and the Tuna specifically. Nothing really personal with Romo or Gramatica).

I thought Romo was gonna go in for the TD and I do believe anything that woulda delayed the defender even a half-second woulda sprung Romo for the TD.

That's twice this year I saw the Cowboys lose last second when it looked like they'd win, and once it was to my otherwise awful 'Skins. biggrin.gif

Yogi was right...
SMan
Yeah, they switched kickers about a month ago. But come on Snoop, can you really count on any kicker to spring a block for you? laugh.gif
Idiot
The boys made it further than the skins, that's my #1 wish every year. #2 is that the Colts don't win the SB. I'm gonna have to break my own rule this weekend and watch the Colts. I'm hoping for a body bag game. Other than that I'd like to see NO win it all.

You know, I thought that you were an intelligent and argumentative person who usually wants to argue his point on the true statement of fact, but as it is YOU'RE JUST PLAIN MEAN!!!! sad.gif

It was heartbreaking. I was talking to them and telling them that when they kicked off to make sure that they pin them down inside the twenty and hold them with no more than 30 yards. AUGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe that they did that.
Romo could go on and have an extraordinary career, but at every game the announcers will revert back to that fumblin, bumblin play from the 1 and 1/2 yard line.
We'll getr em next year.
Go Ravens!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah samy0, I am trying to work that issue out right now, but I am at a loss as to how to gloss it over huh.gif

Obviously I'm pulling for the Ravens. I was a Browns fan back when I was old enough to understand football.. when Kosar and Co. ran the show. When they moved to Baltimore I happened to be living there at the time and got tickets to games, so I just started following them.

I think Indi is soft and they'll get beat up. I don't think KC had much of a chance since their offense was just so one dimensional. Challenging the Chiefs to beat you in the air isn't much of a challenge.

I'm impartial on the Cowboys, other than T.O. being a primadonna. Hated them when Switzer was there though... however, I do like Parcells.

Great games this weekend. The NFL has to be happy with how close all of the games were.

And to the unknown bastard in this world that sent me a "go Ray and the Ravens" text message at 1:30 in the morning on Saturday, a big F U to you! That's what you get for waking me up in the middle of the night and making me think I was being called in to work. WTF?

Ravens sucked. That game was just terrible to watch... same old story, no offense.

I'm pulling for the Saints.
Kid
well as hagop can tell you I've picked all 8 right so far, and I'm calling Indy/Chicago this week.with Indy winning it all...like the paper said, regardless, it will be an AFC team
momsapilot
Rematch for NE/ Indy should be great. At least Indy is short a kicker this time, being to their advantage!

I really want the Saints to win it all...Brees is my boy!

Of course I have to cheer for the Bears...I'm sitting in Chicago for heaven's sake. I would get dragged into the street and beaten to a pulp if I did otherwise!
samy0
Rex grossman is GODAWFUL!!!!!!!!!
momsapilot
I wonder if the front pages of the Chicago papers are calling for Grossman's head? Poor Sexy Rexy. He needs to find a new job.
