Read in todays paper that those idiots from Westboro Batptist Church are going to protest at the funeral of a soldier from Mont Alto today at 10:30 in Waynesboro.

I hope the good Lord makes a special place in Hell for those "God Fearing" folks.

I wonder if the good Reverend Phelps knows how red-neck those hill-folk in Waynesboro can be? Maybe we'll get lucky and some of the good ol' boys from Waynesboro with gun racks in their pick-ups will go a-huntin'. After all, you could bury a whole church load of the bigots in them thar hills and not a soul will break their silence.

I don't condone anyone there getting shot, and you shouldn't either. But protesting at a soldier's funeral is low.

For what purpose would someone protest any funeral? To what end? Just seems kinda - after the fact. Too late. Unless they don't want the person buried? Seems more disrespectful toward the surviving family and friends of the person rather than the person being buried.
