Here are the Democrats true colors shining through early.

Anti-Military, I don't give a damn what they say in the article. The Demo's have shown in the past they are anti-Military. Now they are going to block funding. Way to go America, way to shoot ourselves in the foot.

Its not gonna happen cf, as much as youd like to see it. Youll keep getting your paycheck. You even stand a better chance of gettin a raise with the dems in.

I know I'm going to get my raise, I got one on January 1st and I'll get another on 1 April.

The point is the Dems are anti-military, and because of it, damn near anti-American. How can you not support the military during the times of conflict. I don't care what warped thoughts you have about the reasons we went to this conflict. Don't stab the military in the back. They are there, the COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF has consulted with personnel and feels that a troop increase is needed. What is NOT cut and dry about that? Send the troops and fund them. Don't use the troops as your pawns in your political BS game.

He consulted with them all right. And then he had to fire all the ones in charge because they told him he was full of sh!t. The a-hole in chief's 'surge' plan is at best supported by a minority of generals, military affairs officers, and foreign policy experts, and strongly opposed by a bipartisan panel heavily weighted with Bush I's team. That's being generous. It's also overwhelmingly opposed by the American people.


Show me one single Bush administration decision in Iraq, either strategic or tactical, that didn't turn out to be either a bad idea at minimum, or more typically a complete disaster? Just one.


And spare me the self righteous patriotism. The dems are stupid and they don't know how to run a party but there are at least 4 times as many of them who served as there are repubs. GWB was fckin off doin lines and hiding behind daddy when it was his turn. Use them as pawns! Give me a break. He's caused more men to lose their lives uselessly than any president in history.

Excuse us ID but any declaration that lives have been lost uselessly is an abomination. These troops are defending you and everyone else from attack by those that wish to impose their religious beliefs on the West and all other infidels. Was Saddam just kidding when he attacked Iran and other countries in the region. His payments to the bombers in Israel were responsible for the attacks just a sure as if he were wearing the vest himself. BTW I watched Munich last night and it was easy to see that unless a severe attitude change takes place in Israel and the Arab world (unlikely) the only way this will end is if they kill each other, or one side prevails over the other.

Maybe you are of the school that this mess is God's punishment for this Country's sins, perhaps you should join the protesters at military funerals. Other than voting in the UN to create the state of Israel we have had little direct meddling in the mid-east it was created by and for the Europeans.

i really think bush needs to go,he proved he has no idea what he is doing, now he asks us to believe in what he wants to do now by adding more men in irag, why should we believe that will work? this war needs to be run by some one else now, not bush,

ugh, I am sad. I will need to jump to another topic. Do not mind me, just getting sad about our troops and their families. Then there is the bickering between and within political parties. It does not look good on Capitol Hill.
