So, who watched the new season premier of 24 last night?

Vampire Jack just keeps coming up with ways to kill people!

I thought the premise for the US "needing" Jack to keep from imploding over the terrorist attacks was kinda lame, but the action was edge-of-seat good.

I made it through 3 seasons, but couldn't suspend my disbelief enough for any more. I do like how they run the show straight through now instead of taking weeks off like when I used to watch it.

I watched it. I thought it was kind of strange that the FBI didn`t take the kid in when they took his father. Considering the boys age. He was old enough to be a suspect.
Cloey is the cool one. That girl has some mean looks. Yikes

I'm so there! We beat it back from Woodfield during rush hour in the snow to make sure we got home in time to watch part 2 tonight! I didn't like the whole Chinese gap though. I wanna know what happened in between....how the brother got elected, what happened to the first lady and the body guard, how they tracked Jack down. The nuke going off in Valencia rocked!! Valencia is a hole in the valley anyway! j/k SoCal peeps!

But was this 24's "jumping the shark"? What do you do after you let a nuke go off? And, it seems a little late since Jericho has been there, done that. Didn't like Jack having th shoot his buddy -- I think they sold his buddy's character short.

My family and friends love 24. We enjoy the ride, right thru any plot holes. The show is great fun. I need more.
What a day or two. Neck bite, emotional break down, a nuke, and having to shoot his friend a fellow CTU agent, what a start.

I love watching DVDs of the old seasons I missed. It is wild seeing it in large segments (1 or 2 disks @ a time.). Makes you miss some great characters/trouble makers who have been killed off, like Sherry Palmer.

Did I really see Jack BITE his captor to death?

OMG, it was like a train wreck, I didn't want to watch, but DAMN, that was sooooo cool!

Next I think Jack will either pluck out their eyes with his fingers or plunge his hand into their belly and start ripping out stuff.

I hope no more key characters get the deep-6. I liked Curtis and the heavy-set friend of Chloe's who got gassed to death last season.

And like Moms said, what happened to a few folks from 2 years ago...

Agree, the last 2 seasons have been bad for some great actors. I miss some of those who made it quite fun.
