I'm not sure if anyone can help me over the forum with this one, but it's worth a shot! I've discovered that kittens are adorable until they destroy things, and this is one example:

My little Daisy loves it when I print things off. The minute I start up the Dell All in one copy/scan/fax she's on the desk! Well, last night she stuck her front paw up where the paper comes out and pulled out a black square sponge, soaked with ink! Now my copies still come out, but they're all ink blotched at the bottom and I can't figure out where this sponge came from! It's obvious it blots the ink but how do I fix it????

And now to top it off I have kitty foot prints all over my desk, kitchen island...

Naomi,
I`m not sure how to help with the sponge.
Try some WD-40 on the cat foot prints. let it soak a little while then wipe it off.
It worrk on some ink pin marks i had on my desk.

I am not too sure, but usually there is a small ink well with a sponge in it near where the print head rests. It soaks up left over ink from the print head. Do you see anything near there that the sponge would fit in?
Heather
Cello does that too, Naomi. She'll run from wherever she's at in the house to stick her nose and paws in a print job.

Be careful she doesn't get sick from that ink or anything you put on her paws to get it off. You know she'll lick be trying to lick her paws.

Little pity pats. Awws. biggrin.gif

The sponges are usually in a little spot where the cartridges park when not printing. If your pronter is a HP I think I saw something in the manual about the location of the sponges.

Actually, it's a Dell all in one, and my son came over and fixed it! Thanks guys!
