I think I just dug up the earliest post ever. April 2003. Parking meter fees. Slager's birthday is today too. smile.gif

I've been clicking on the "last clicked" link lately and was wondering why so many old topics were being reviewed.

I read for a long time without realizing the time that passed...

Mcgee was right today...we used to post interesting stuff.

It's just not interesting when you know everyone's point of view. But there's always those hot topics, right? So who's still a big ol' bible thumper and gay hater? biggrin.gif Have y'all come around to my dark side, yet?

Why bother posting a bunch of stuff when you can bet it'll just be a few of the same 15-20 people that will respond? Sure there may be more people just reading/lurking (Hi, Guests!), but by now, we know the audience here. I just take certain posts elsewhere because I don't think there's an audience for some topics. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as this place has a niche in my daily posting and browsing habits.

It's like starting a new relationship. At first, it's all hot and heavy. Lots of exciting stuff. After awhile, you settle in, get comfortable and things become a lot less exciting.
