Frst,I feel really sad for the family of the girl who was killed in the accident. On another note, after learning that ice wasnt the cause, the first thing that came to my mind was simply-cellphone. Even though the cellphone remains an integral part of older womens' life, younger women and girls are controlled by the darn things. I have a good prediction that she may have been more focused on the phone- just a prediction. Sorry to offend but cellphones need to be improvised as to when they can be used from the manufacturing on up.

What info do you have that says she was on a cell phone? if you are just guessing and throwing that "prediction" out there I think that is a little disrespectful to the young woman and her family. The police stated that they "don't think" ice was a factor. There could have been a hundred different things that caused the wreck(other driver, deer, mechanical failure just to name a few).

For all we know she might not have even had a cell phone with her. Anyone assuming anything else is just spouting off at this point. You may be right and that could be a factor that comes out after the investigation but until then its a little irresponsible to suggest such a thing.

Its bad enough that this young lady died! How about a little respect and at least let them get her in the ground and finish their investigation before we start assigning blame to her?

i said it was a prediction and im usually right when i go with my instinct, oh yeah they will soon be able to see what people are doing on their cellphones if they arent already- the only thing they let us know is about the gps on them.

Some newer phones have GPS features built in. It is not standard on every phone. However, every phone that is turned on can be located to a general vicinity based on the signal strength measured from cell towers. The cell companies can tell which tower(s) the phone is "pinging", then a position can be determined by the signal strength from the phone to each tower.

I thought that was common knowledge. But how do "they" see what you are doing on cell phones? What else do you think cell phones have that "they" aren't telling us about.

Well, from a womans standpoint yes I use my cellphone when I'm driving and don't tell me that men don't do it just as much if not more then a woman does. However, who is to say that this was even a factor in this accident. Shut your mouth and maybe learn your facts before speaking your mind. If you have ever driven on that road there are a ton of deer and there is a slight incline and turn right where she had the accident. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing this young lady, but I have a number of employees that knew her and said she was a bright, respectful and sweet girl. So, maybe have a slight bit of compassion for someone in their time of sorrow and keep your comments to yourself. It's quite obvious that you have way too much time on your hands with nothing else in life to do. Making snide remarks about other people because you are some geek sitting in your home alone all day with no family, friends or companions is ridiculous. Take that as you wish but next time you want to run your mouth think about other people before you think of yourself and your obvious bordem! Choose another topic about something else besides a family that has lost a young child that had a long life ahead of her and are suffering because of either an accident or a mistake in judgement. Who knows? Let the facts come out before you pass such harsh judgement!
