Where do you think the best burger is? First list where you think it is in H-town then elsewhere.
There are not many choices in H-Town other than fast food. I had a pretty good burger the other night at Ruby's.
Elsewhere my favorites are Fudruckers and one that I haven't had in a very long time is a Bacon Blue Cheeseburger at Clyde's

I can think of lots of places--not fast food--in H-town that offer burgers, including:
Garfield's
IHOP
Hempen Hill BBQ
Burhans Station
Olivers
Woodpoint Grill
Cafe Del Sol
The Fireside
Denny's
Texas Roadhouse
The Outback
Tony's
And I'm sure there are more...
I can't really tell you which place has the best burger, but you might be able to find a good one at Hempen Hill or Cafe Del Sol.

I cant remember the last time I had a burger in H-town but the best place ive had one is Five Guys in Alexandria. They are now a rather large chain all throughout the east coast. I believe there is 1 in Frederick as well.

When I was out in Colorado, I took my neice to her favorite hamburger joint, Red Robin.
I was surprised. The burgers were really good. I had one with bacon and avocado on it.
Someone told me that there is a new one in Chambersburg. I think near Cluggy's. Have to check it out.

I can tell you where I had the worst burger ever ---Checkers in Gaithersburg. Any place that sells pre-made frozen burgers usually suck.. White Castle is great at 3AM ---good hangover prevention kit.

Wondering here, Is that Snow White still open downtown? I use to go there about 20 years ago. When I lived up here the first time. I like Checkers, I didn't think they was to bad. That was down in FredNeck.
When I make my own, I put Lipton Herb & Garlic seasoning in the meat and grill them. Taste pretty good. Better then plain old hamburgers. My kids really love them.

Yuck the Snow White is filled with the usual denizens of downtown that I usually mention, all kinds of derelicts and outcasts, also one time I heard it had roaches.

The best burger you can buy is in the Funkstown Tavern. $3.50 for a hand made thick burger with L T M on it. If it`s not the best. I`ll buy you the next one anywere you choose in Htown.

I'm sure you know all about that place too. Like you know about everything else, right. To be truthful, I don't care what kind of people go in there. When I go into a place of business. I don't scope out a place to see what kind of people are in there. In order for me to make a decision of whether or not I'm going in. We all are human, We all are different in are own ways.
After all, I said I was wondering if Snow White was still open. I use to go there 20 years ago. Doesn't mean I was going to go there. Only place I go downtown in the Famous Hagerstown Library.

Red Robin rocks! They have the best burgers and quite a variety as well. I love their steak fries, all you can eat too!
Steak n' Shake has yum-o burgers as well, dunno where the closest location to MD is though...
